Story
Looking to rehome a 5-year-old Border Collie/Aussie mix named Olli. He’s a sweet, cuddly guy who looks like a little black bear. Olli would do best in a home with older children or adults, and without other pets. Unfortunately, he has shown some bullying behavior toward his previous dog sibling and has bitten him when overly excited- never any other dogs though. While Olli has never bitten a person, he can get reactive around children who are roller skating or running nearby, probably due to his herding breed. He knows basic commands like sit, shake, down, and stay. He loves going for walks, is food-motivated, and is a true morning guy. Olli is shy when meeting new people but warms up with time and patience.

She's calm left alone in the house, just super excited to see you when you get home! Story
This stunning guy is Misio, pronounced 'Misho' which is Polish for Teddy Bear. Misio is a 9 year old Australian Shepherd who is currently on a diet to get to his ideal weight of about 37 pounds. Misio is looking for a patient and mature household to live the rest of his years. He is working through some trust issues and is learning to let his guard down. But once he knows you are safe, he will be yours forever. Misio likes to be near people but isnt overly cuddly, he is content to be in his own space near you. He'd do best in a home with adults only and no other animals. Misio is still very active and he would love to be your hiking, camping, or running companion! He is very outgoing and loves to chase a ball around the yard. He is also very smart and picks up on training quickly. Misio needs a forever home that can provide him with mental stimulation and a physical outlet. He can be chill in the house, but is also not a couch potato. He is house trained and crate trained and walks well on leash. With a little bit of training, a dash of patience, and a person who will be active with him, Misio will be an amazing companion for years to come! Dogs are not placed on a first- come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting Misio, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationApril 16, 2025, 7:22 am

Story
Kayli came to her foster mom sick and at a very unhealthy weight. After a lengthy nutrition and weight loss program this adorable girl is ready to find her forever home! She was at a point where she could barely walk and now she loves a nice race around the backyard or to fetch her toys for you. She is a supreme cuddle bug and can't get close enough to her people. Tummy rubs might be her favorite thing and if you pet her she will adorably fling herself to the ground to better accommodate you. She loves walks but is also content to just stay home with you, too. She does have a problem with excited barking but she calms down after a short time. She just loves every single person she meets and can't control her excitement at first. She also loves children and children love her but because of her initial excited barking she can sometimes scare them so an initial leash greeting would be best with small children. She loves other dogs but if they get in her face too much she can sometimes be a little snippy. She has done well in her foster home with another older dog and, for a short stint, she had a blast with a big, goofy young boy that was recently adopted. Kayli has a 'cherry eye' (where the tear duct has popped out under the eyelid) that her owner chose not to fix as it doesn't bother her at all, but because of that it has been too long to do anything about it. It doesn't bother her and requires no attention. Would like to meet this cute girl?Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Story
Eevee is the cutest and sweetest dog around!! We picked her up from a local shelter that was over capacity. She is an Aussie, mini Aussie, and red healer mix. She’s between 3 and 4 years old and a perfect 30 lbs. We love this girl so much, however, she has high prey drive and does not do well with our cats. This has caused a significant reduction in quality of life for our cats. Because she’s a herding dog she’ll need someone who can exercise her both physically and mentally (give her a job). She is good with dogs if they have space for proper off-leash introductions. She’s a delightful house guest and has overall great manners. She’s super intelligent and picks up tricks quickly and knows a lot of them already. We’re working on her leash manners, but she’s still a bit leash reactive and will need continuous work on that to improve! Adopt this cutie today!! 🥰🥰

Story
Ginger is a feisty little one with all the wonderfulness a puppy. She is curious, playful, loving, and just the best puppy. Ginger is not a basset. She was rescued from a dangerous situation. Now, she's looking for a family to give her the special life she deserves.Ginger would probably do best with a playmate. Her house training is not quite complete but it's coming along nicely.
