He warms up instantly and enjoys respectful kids. His crossed-paw lounging pose and little tuft of hair by his eye make him extra charming.Misio is house-trained, crate-trained, and well-mannered in the home—though he’ll counter-surf if food is within reach. He knows basic commands and is very food-motivated. He walks best on a long leash and settles nicely after the initial excitement. He rides well in a crate.He should be an only pet. He can pass some dogs politely but is unpredictable with others and doesn’t like sharing toys. No cats. He’s fine around livestock when supervised. He loves kids but will react if handled roughly, so he needs a home with respectful boundaries.Misio is healthy, takes a few supplements, and is at a great weight after losing 16 lbs. He still prefers gentle handling around his collar and during grooming, but he has made wonderful progress.A fenced yard and positive-reinforcement family would be ideal. He's curious, affectionate, and always ready for his next adventure. Making the decision to rehome Scout has been incredibly difficult. We live in an apartment with two young children, and we've realized we're not able to give him the space, time, and one-on-one attention he deserves. We truly want what's best for him, and we believe he'll thrive in a home where he has more room to run, play, and receive the attention he needs.Scout would do best with an active individual or family who has the time and energy to help him continue learning and growing. He thrives on being around his people and simply wants love.Whether you want an active companion or a cuddle bug, Maui is your guy. He enjoys walks and is completely leash-trained, but is just as happy to cuddle up on the couch.Maui is fully potty-trained and remarkably quiet—he doesn’t bark or growl normally. A few helpful things to know: he requires no special diet. He can be skittish around sudden loud noises but recovers in seconds. Maui strongly dislikes enclosed spaces and needs a crate-free home. He does have mild separation anxiety; he might howl or bark when left alone. He would love to be in a home where he does not have to be left alone to often. Koda is the best dog for the right family. He has always been so well behaved and is a calm temperament most of the time, though he does love to play. He absolutely loves those who love him and show it by running around with absolute excitement. We are heartbroken that we cant keep him anymore. But we have 2 boys age 2 and 1 month and he has shown aggression towards our oldest multiple times now, and has bitten him. We love Koda and know he is just scared of the uncertainty a child can bring. We have tried just placing Koda in a separate room but he is very social and just wants to be around us so this isn't a great long term solution.He will do best in a home of older kids and adults. In the years we had him before kids he was never aggressive whatsoever and is really a wonderful dog.
