Story
Kip is a five year old golden/aussie mix. He is a friendly, adventurous, and out going dog. He's never met a dog, person, cat, or living creature he didn't like. He loves to wrestle in the yard with Maple, and throw himself into any body of water he can find. He's a big cuddler and believes himself to be a lap dog. Kip will make you play fetch with him until your arm falls off! Maple is Kips favorite playmate and his partner in crime. He is house and kennel trained. Kip and Maple are a bonded pair and we would like to keep them together if possible. The adoption fee is for both of them and includes their kennels, bowls, toys, and leashes and collars.

Story
Meet Fly! This handsome 8-year-old Australian Shepherd mix weighs about 30–32 pounds and is the definition of an easygoing companion. He’s chill, affectionate, and happiest when he’s near his people.Fly is fully house-trained, has excellent manners, sleeps quietly through the night in his crate, and patiently waits for you to wake up. He’s also a fantastic leash walker and loves walks, car rides, and a good game of fetch. His energy level is low to moderate, so one good walk and/or some playtime each day is plenty.Fly warms up quickly to people and has been wonderful with kids of all ages. He is partially deaf but responds well to physical cues. He is not reactive to other dogs, but he can become nervous if another dog is overly interested in playing with him or acts territorial toward him. In those situations, Fly may bark until he can get some space. He doesn’t lunge or try to fight—he simply wants the other dog to back off.Fly would be happiest as an only dog or with a calm, relaxed canine companion who respects his space. We don’t know how he does with cats. One of Fly’s cutest quirks? The second he sees his leash, he’s ready to go—you practically don’t even have to put it on! He does need a fenced yard and a home that will be careful around open doors, as he’s an enthusiastic door-dasher.If you’re looking for a sweet, relaxed companion who loves his people, enjoys a good game of fetch, and is always up for a car ride, Fly might just be your guy! ❤️Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. Story
JOLENE (JOJO) Jolene is a sweet, energetic 8–10-month-old Shepherd/Collie mix weighing around 30–40 pounds. She’s affectionate, playful, smart, and loves her people—expect plenty of kisses and lap cuddles!JoJo is great with kids and other dogs, and would love a playful canine sibling, although she could also be your one-and-only. She enjoys walks, playtime, adventures, and basically anything that involves being with her humans. She’s doing well with her crate and is learning her house manners, but she’s still very much a work in progress. Counter surfing, jumping for her food bowl, door darting, and potty training are areas we’re working on. She knows sit, come, and no, and is eager to learn when treats and praise are involved.JoJo walks nicely on leash with a little pulling, but she does chase cars, so continued training and management are important. She also gets carsick and does not enjoy car rides. This busy girl would thrive in an active home with a fenced yard, people who want to include her in their adventures, and the patience to keep working on her puppy-level impulse control. Apartment living is not a good fit, and she’d do best with someone committed to consistent training. If you’re looking for a loving, goofy, energetic young dog who will happily climb into your lap and look straight into your soul, JoJo might be your girl! ❤️Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. Story
Meet Misio — Your Sweet, Goofy Teddy Bear! ❤️Misio is a cuddly, medium-energy Australian Shepherd (35–37 lbs) who loves people, long walks, sniffing adventures, and relaxing near his humans. He warms up instantly and enjoys respectful kids. His crossed-paw lounging pose and little tuft of hair by his eye make him extra charming.Misio is house-trained, crate-trained, and well-mannered in the home—though he’ll counter-surf if food is within reach. He knows basic commands and is very food-motivated. He walks best on a long leash and settles nicely after the initial excitement. He rides well in a crate. He should be an only pet. He can pass some dogs politely but is unpredictable with others and doesn’t like sharing toys. No cats. He’s fine around livestock when supervised. He loves kids but will react if handled roughly, so he needs a home with respectful boundaries.Misio is healthy, takes a few supplements, and is at a great weight after losing 16 lbs. He still prefers gentle handling around his collar and during grooming, but he has made wonderful progress.A fenced yard and positive-reinforcement family would be ideal. Misio is affectionate, goofy, loyal, and ready for a home that appreciates both his adventurous side and his snuggly one.Dogs are not placed on a first- come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $100.
