Story
💔 Looking for the perfect home for Pepper 💔 This is by far one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to make. After a lot of tears and trying everything we can, we’ve made the heartbreaking decision to find a new home for Pepper. Our kids’ allergies have continued to get worse, and keeping him separated downstairs isn’t fair to him. He deserves so much more than that. We adopted Pepper about 2 years ago, and he has been such a special part of our family ever since. He is a big Australian Shepherd mix with an even bigger heart. He is incredibly sweet, loving, loyal, and just wants to be with his people. 🐾 Australian Shepherd mix 🐾 Not neutered 🐾 Large dog 🐾 Very affectionate

Story
Yoshi is a really sweet dog. She wouldn’t hurt a fly, has endless love to give, and loves to play. She’s 6 years old as of 6/1/26. She struggled with epilepsy when she was a puppy but has now gone over 4 years without any seizures. Yoshi is about 95% deaf from birth. She can hear really loud sounds like other dogs barking close, or pots and pans clinging together.Yoshi is a master at reading body language and we communicate everything we need through hand gestures, which she responds to really well. She loves playing fetch at the park, playing hide and find the treat, hiking, and snuggling before bed. She’s kennel trained and has no problem spending time alone while we’re at work.

Story
Meet Misio — Your Sweet, Goofy Teddy Bear! ❤️Misio is a cuddly, medium-energy Australian Shepherd (35–37 lbs) who loves people, long walks, sniffing adventures, and relaxing near his humans. He warms up instantly and enjoys respectful kids. His crossed-paw lounging pose and little tuft of hair by his eye make him extra charming.Misio is house-trained, crate-trained, and well-mannered in the home—though he’ll counter-surf if food is within reach. He knows basic commands and is very food-motivated. He walks best on a long leash and settles nicely after the initial excitement. He rides well in a crate. He should be an only pet. He can pass some dogs politely but is unpredictable with others and doesn’t like sharing toys. No cats. He’s fine around livestock when supervised. He loves kids but will react if handled roughly, so he needs a home with respectful boundaries.Misio is healthy, takes a few supplements, and is at a great weight after losing 16 lbs. He still prefers gentle handling around his collar and during grooming, but he has made wonderful progress.A fenced yard and positive-reinforcement family would be ideal. Misio is affectionate, goofy, loyal, and ready for a home that appreciates both his adventurous side and his snuggly one.Dogs are not placed on a first- come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $100. If you are interested in adopting Misio, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationJuly 15, 2026, 8:38 am

Story
Meet Scout!Scout is a sweet, energetic, and playful MINI Aussie born on December 8, 2025. He weighs just under 20 pounds and is full of personality. He loves to play, explore, and be around people. He's curious, affectionate, and always ready for his next adventure. Making the decision to rehome Scout has been incredibly difficult. We live in an apartment with two young children, and we've realized we're not able to give him the space, time, and one-on-one attention he deserves. We truly want what's best for him, and we believe he'll thrive in a home where he has more room to run, play, and receive the attention he needs.Scout would do best with an active individual or family who has the time and energy to help him continue learning and growing. He's a wonderful puppy with so much love to give, and we're committed to finding him a caring, forever home where he can live his happiest life. If you think Scout could be a great fit for your family, we'd love to hear from you.
