Story
This stunning guy is Misio, pronounced 'Misho' which is Polish for Teddy Bear. Misio is a 9 year old Australian Shepherd who is currently on a diet to get to his ideal weight of about 37 pounds. Misio is looking for a patient and mature household to live the rest of his years. He is working through some trust issues and is learning to let his guard down. But once he knows you are safe, he will be yours forever. Misio likes to be near people but isnt overly cuddly, he is content to be in his own space near you. He'd do best in a home with adults only and no other animals. Misio is still very active and he would love to be your hiking, camping, or running companion! He is very outgoing and loves to chase a ball around the yard. He is also very smart and picks up on training quickly. Misio needs a forever home that can provide him with mental stimulation and a physical outlet. He can be chill in the house, but is also not a couch potato. He is house trained and crate trained and walks well on leash. With a little bit of training, a dash of patience, and a person who will be active with him, Misio will be an amazing companion for years to come! Dogs are not placed on a first- come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. Meet Benny! Looking for a brilliant best friend? This 6-month-old Border Collie/Aussie mix is as smart as he is sweet! Weighing in at 20 lbs, Benny is the perfect blend of brains, heart, and playful puppy energy.Benny is already crate-trained and house-trained, and he quickly adapts to household routines. True to his herding-dog roots, he’s eager to learn and loves having a “job” to do. He already knows how to sit and shake, and with his intelligence and eagerness to please, he’ll be a training superstar in no time.A little shy at first, Benny warms up with patience and kindness—then his affectionate side shines through. Once he trusts you, he’s a world-class cuddler who bonds deeply with his people.Benny thrives on both mental and physical activity. He has medium energy and would love a yard where he can run, play, and stretch those long legs. Because he’s still young, he’ll need a family that can give him time outside the crate and plenty of engagement throughout the day. He’s great with other dogs—his puppy enthusiasm can be a bit much for some, but a playful canine companion could be a perfect match. He tends to be curious around cats and will chase if they run.&#226&#156&#168 Bonus! Benny’s adoption includes two free training sessions with Clementine Dog Training, to help set him (and you!) up for success as he continues learning and growing.Benny would do best with:- A patient family familiar with herding breeds who can help him build confidence- Someone excited to continue positive reinforcement training and enrichment- A home with a yard for playtime- Potentially another playful, compatible dogIf you’re looking for a smart, loyal companion to grow with, Benny is your boy!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Meet Kayli – From Couch Potato to Backyard Athlete! When Kayli first arrived at her foster home, she was sick, overweight, and struggling just to walk. With lots of love, care, and a dedicated nutrition program, this resilient girl has transformed into a happy, healthier pup who now lives for playtime and zoomies around the backyard. She’s ready to find her forever family — could it be you?Kayli is a world-class cuddle bug who can’t get close enough to her people. Belly rubs are her absolute favorite — if you start petting her, she’ll dramatically flop onto the ground to make sure you have easy access. She loves walks, but she’s just as happy to hang out at home, keeping you company. She’s a friendly girl who loves meeting new people (and kids!), though she can get a little too excited at first and bark out her greetings. A brief leash introduction with small children works best, and once she settles down, she’s all wiggles and love.Kayli does well with other dogs, especially those who respect her space. She’s happily shared her foster home with an older dog and even had a blast playing with a goofy young pup for a short time. Her “cherry eye” is just a cosmetic quirk — it doesn’t cause her any pain, require any treatment, or slow her down one bit. In fact, it adds a little extra charm to her sweet face. Why you’ll love Kayli:- Sweet, affectionate, and loves belly rubs- Playful but also content to relax with you- Friendly with people, kids, and respectful dogs- Healthy, fixed, microchipped, and vaccinatedKayli has come so far, and now she’s ready to share her second chance at life with a family who will cherish her. Story
Meet Wednesday! 1 year old • 48 lbs • Border Collie Labrador Retriever MixWednesday is a bright, beautiful girl who’s equal parts playful and sweet. She’s a bundle of energy who loves spending time outside, going for walks, and—her absolute favorite—playing with other dogs! Once she’s gotten her zoomies out, she’s happiest hanging out with her people, following them around the house, or relaxing in a quiet spot under the bed.Wednesday can be a little timid at first and startles easily with sudden noises or fast movements, but once she warms up, her affectionate, goofy side shines through. She’s incredibly eager to please and quick to learn, especially when there’s chicken involved. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and does best in a home where she won’t be left alone for long stretches. Wednesday is still learning her manners—she can get jumpy when excited and sometimes needs help focusing—but she’s a smart, motivated girl who thrives with patient, consistent guidance.Because she can get overwhelmed in busy or unpredictable environments, Wednesday would do best in an adult-only home that can give her the structure and calm she needs to feel confident. A yard where she can run and play would make her happiest, and having another friendly dog to play with would be a big bonus!Wednesday’s ideal family will give her a “job” to do, plenty of activity, and lots of love and reassurance. In return, she’ll give you endless affection, hilarious ear expressions, and a loyal companion for life. Apply to meet Wednesday at http://caws.org/adoption-applicationAll CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Adoption fee: $200. I aquired Mika from someone I go to school with. He couldn’t keep her so I took her in. I am now putting her up for adoption in hopes she will find a better home that isn’t a small apartment, she’s an amazing dog and I just wanted her to find a home that is better for her. She’s a very fun energetic and loving dog. She loves attention and being close to people. She like being outdoors good dog for hiking with, running with and camping with. She’s also great for snuggling up on the couch or bed and watching some tv with. Pretty well trained.

Story
When I started looking into getting a dog for my child, I never thought I’d end up with the one nobody else wanted. He came from a rejected litter, and somehow, he found his way to us. From the start, I could tell he was different. Not calm or quiet, but full of this crazy, hyper energy that just wouldn’t quit. And honestly? That’s what makes him who he is. He’s wild, yes, but he’s also the sweetest dog I’ve ever known. He loves people—anyone, anywhere. When he gets the attention he craves, he settles right in and shows off how good and well-behaved he can be. He has his favorites in life: long walks where every sound and smell is an adventure, a pile of toys he’ll dig through to find “the one” for a good game of tug, belly rubs that make him melt, and a warm bath at the end of the day. Dog parks visits are the best outing. Life has gotten crazy. My child felt it was more important for him to be happy and get the attention he used to. I only have a fee to make sure people are serious
