Meet Skye – Your Loyal, Sensitive Adventure Buddy &#239&#184&#143Skye is a 9-year-old Australian Shepherd with a gentle soul, a brilliant mind, and a heart that bonds deeply with her person. She’s a shy, sweet, and attentive girl who blossoms into a wonderfully devoted companion once she feels safe.Skye's favorite pastime? Playing fetch with her beloved tennis ball, followed by a cozy hangout with her human. At this stage in her life, she enjoys a balanced routine - daily walks, some ball-chasing fun, and the mental challenge of treat puzzles keep her happy and fulfilled. She's medium-energy, agile, smart, and always up for an adventure as long as she's with someone she trusts.Skye is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and an excellent leash walker. She's responsive to commands like leave it and focus, and she tries hard to make good choices, especially when she's feeling nervous. She takes daily Fluoxetine to help manage her anxiety, which has been beneficial for her. While she's not destructive when left alone, Skye truly prefers companionship and does best with someone who is home often. She is sensitive and protective of her space - quick movements or unfamiliar guests can make her anxious, and she may try to 'herd' people by nipping at heels. Because of this, a quieter home without young children or frequent visitors would be ideal. Skye can coexist with other calm dogs and cats, though she tends to keep to herself and prefers slow introductions. A yard would be a wonderful bonus for her.Skye's perfect match is someone patient, gentle, and understanding - someone who appreciates her quirks, respects her boundaries, and celebrates her incredible loyalty and intelligence. With the right person, she is affectionate, playful, deeply connected, and wonderfully sassy in all the best ways.If you're looking for a smart, soulful companion who will adore you endlessly and join you on meaningful adventures, Skye may be your perfect match. &#239&#184&#143Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $100. This stunning guy is Misio, pronounced 'Misho' which is Polish for Teddy Bear. Misio is a 9 year old Australian Shepherd who is currently on a diet to get to his ideal weight of about 37 pounds. Misio is looking for a patient and mature household to live the rest of his years. He is working through some trust issues and is learning to let his guard down. But once he knows you are safe, he will be yours forever. Misio likes to be near people but isnt overly cuddly, he is content to be in his own space near you. He'd do best in a home with adults only and no other animals. Misio is still very active and he would love to be your hiking, camping, or running companion! He is very outgoing and loves to chase a ball around the yard. He is also very smart and picks up on training quickly. Misio needs a forever home that can provide him with mental stimulation and a physical outlet. He can be chill in the house, but is also not a couch potato. He is house trained and crate trained and walks well on leash. With a little bit of training, a dash of patience, and a person who will be active with him, Misio will be an amazing companion for years to come! Dogs are not placed on a first- come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. Meet Benny! Looking for a brilliant best friend? This 6-month-old Border Collie/Aussie mix is as smart as he is sweet! Weighing in at 20 lbs, Benny is the perfect blend of brains, heart, and playful puppy energy.Benny is already crate-trained and house-trained, and he quickly adapts to household routines. True to his herding-dog roots, he’s eager to learn and loves having a “job” to do. He already knows how to sit and shake, and with his intelligence and eagerness to please, he’ll be a training superstar in no time.A little shy at first, Benny warms up with patience and kindness—then his affectionate side shines through. Once he trusts you, he’s a world-class cuddler who bonds deeply with his people.Benny thrives on both mental and physical activity. He has medium energy and would love a yard where he can run, play, and stretch those long legs. Because he’s still young, he’ll need a family that can give him time outside the crate and plenty of engagement throughout the day. He’s great with other dogs—his puppy enthusiasm can be a bit much for some, but a playful canine companion could be a perfect match. He tends to be curious around cats and will chase if they run.&#226&#156&#168 Bonus! Benny’s adoption includes two free training sessions with Clementine Dog Training, to help set him (and you!) up for success as he continues learning and growing.Benny would do best with:- A patient family familiar with herding breeds who can help him build confidence- Someone excited to continue positive reinforcement training and enrichment- A home with a yard for playtime- Potentially another playful, compatible dogIf you’re looking for a smart, loyal companion to grow with, Benny is your boy!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Story
Beast is a good dog! my late husband got him for me as a wedding present before he passed away... Beast has come so far from our life in colorado, He is such an energetic little character.. He likes to chase laser pointers and tries to herd my toddler around the house. he is mouthy but only when he needs your attention ** tries to mouth off bark or get yappy ** he is potty trained and knows basic commands. He likes long car rides pretty much anywhere he does okay off leash as well as good with a lead leash. I used to go to school for pet grooming and he does okay he has issues with the water being in his presents without permission but otherwise does good with grooming... We are having to move out of our townhouse and find new living situation... we have 4 kids between the 2 of us and have to stay with family for a while to get back on our feet. I am only asking for a small re homing fee for serious owners. He is a great dog!

Story
Meet Wednesday! 1 year old • 48 lbs • Border Collie Labrador Retriever MixWednesday is a bright, beautiful girl who’s equal parts playful and sweet. She’s a bundle of energy who loves spending time outside, going for walks, and—her absolute favorite—playing with other dogs! Once she’s gotten her zoomies out, she’s happiest hanging out with her people, following them around the house, or relaxing in a quiet spot under the bed.Wednesday can be a little timid at first and startles easily with sudden noises or fast movements, but once she warms up, her affectionate, goofy side shines through. She’s incredibly eager to please and quick to learn, especially when there’s chicken involved. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and does best in a home where she won’t be left alone for long stretches. Wednesday is still learning her manners—she can get jumpy when excited and sometimes needs help focusing—but she’s a smart, motivated girl who thrives with patient, consistent guidance.Because she can get overwhelmed in busy or unpredictable environments, Wednesday would do best in an adult-only home that can give her the structure and calm she needs to feel confident. A yard where she can run and play would make her happiest, and having another friendly dog to play with would be a big bonus!Wednesday’s ideal family will give her a “job” to do, plenty of activity, and lots of love and reassurance. In return, she’ll give you endless affection, hilarious ear expressions, and a loyal companion for life. Apply to meet Wednesday at http://caws.org/adoption-applicationAll CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Adoption fee: $200. Story
If you're looking for a dog who will love you with every ounce of his being, look no further. Tyson is a 6-year-old mixed breed who specializes in one thing: devotion. Tyson is what some may call a 'Velcro dog,' but he prefers to say he never wants you to feel alone ever again. Tyson bonds incredibly quickly and has a way of making you feel like the most important person in the world. One of Tyson's most endearing quirks is his cat-like behavior. Instead of just a standard tail wag, he shows his affection by winding through your legs or rubbing his side against you like a 40-pound kitten. It's his favorite way to say 'hello,' while also ensuring he's always by your side. Tyson is impossible to resist with his signature floppy ear and a wide, generous smile that lights up his whole face. Tyson is a gentleman when it comes to house rules. While he isn't a fan of the crate (he'd much rather be where the action is!), he is trustworthy when left alone in the house. You won't have to worry about your shoes or furniture, Tyson prefers to spend his solo time napping and waiting for your return. Tyson gets along well with other dogs and would be happy in a home with other mellow pups, but would be equally happy being the only recipient of your affection. If you're looking for a loyal shadow - and your next biggest fan - please apply to meet Tyson today at http://caws.org/adoption-application. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. Story
This beautiful and well mannered guy is just 7 months old and we got him as a playmate to our female pit bull. He's a great companion that needs lots of love and exercise. He loves to play, go for walks and give hugs and kisses. Unfortunately our female has decided to push him away and make him uncomfortable. We just barely got him from the original owner that was unable to keep up with him. He needs to be loved and taken care of.
