Primrose, Princeton and Percival's mom was abandoned at a home when her previous owners moved out. She was left out on a chain to fend for herself. Luckily the neighbors realized she had been left behind and took her in. She was in horrible physical condition and pregnant by to neighborhood stray (a black lab) that would jump the fence when she was in heat. It was reported by the neighbors that these 2 had had multiple litters together but none of the puppies ever survived. The neighbors children fell in love with mom and they are keeping her but needed help rehoming her very last litter (we assisted in getting her spayed). These pups are the most laid back and chill group I have ever seen.

This is "Goldie". Goldie is about 90% an English Bulldog and the rest maybe American Bully. She has all the characters of an English Bulldog. Goldie is about 5 years and11 months old and weighs about 46 pounds. Goldie comes to us with a sad story. Goldie and 2 other dogs (not related) were left behind in an apartment because their owners had no means to take care of them any longer. Someone did take the dogs from the apartment but had no place of his own to go with them. So he was desperate to find a place for these dogs. This is where we came in. We took Goldie. The other 2 dogs were taken by another rescue. All 3 dogs were not starving and they were in good health. Goldie was a little confused at first, understandably so. She is doing much better. Goldie is a sweet dog and she even looks sweet! She is calm, she sits when told and she gives her paw when asked. Goldie is a very good dog. In fact, Goldie is a great dog! Goldie gets along with other dogs and it looks like she gets along with cats. In Goldie's new home, children must be 14 years old or older. You MUST own your own home. You MUST own your own condo. Absolutely no apartments. Goldie came to us already spayed. She went to our veterinarian and she got her shots and tested negative for heartworm. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Spent a lot of time with our vet partner the last few months while we worked through his core vetting and extra diagnostics to make sure he was medically cleared for his adoption! His adopters should know he has a grade 3 murmur but it only presents itself when he is worked up/excited and it won't affect his quality of life or life span. Energy level: Medium. He goes for 2-3 mile walks when the weather cooperates. He does spend much of the day napping, but if he senses any movement and fun-to-be-had, he's springing into action. If he were a plant: He would be the invasive species variety. He likes to take up every inch of space around you. What we love most: When he leans his stocky-little-self into you for pets. When he rests his cylinder block head on you and stares up at you. When he army crawls over to you for pets. His always-in-a-good-mood disposition. The way he skips up the stairs and hops on the way back down. What he loves most: Ice cubes - as soon as he hears the freezer opening, he's bolting over and sitting like a VGB, patiently waiting for his cube. Attention. Pets. Walks. Snuggles. Food. Melting into his dog beds and couch cushions. Working on: Less pulling on leash when he sees little critters. Less corn-cobbing (nibbling) you when he's excited and wants attention. He currently lives with 2 larger, low-key dogs and is very respectful (though could annoy a potential companion with his very "thoughtful" grooming techniques). Tater Tot is exactly what his name suggests- golden brown, round, hearty, a little lumpy, deeply lovable, and best enjoyed on the couch. He is estimated to be around 7 years old and is every bit the classic bulldog experience rolled into one chunky little package. Low to the ground, low on energy, and highly motivated by snacks, Tater Tot is not looking for adventure. Angel is built like a baked potato, cuddles like it is her full-time job, and carries herself with the confidence of someone who has never once questioned whether she is the most important person in the room. She is sweet, affectionate, outgoing, and so naturally funny that she can make you laugh without actually doing anything. There's a new star in town, and this one has four legs! Meet Duke, a handsome 10-month-old, 45-pound Bulldog/Staffordshire Terrier mix (our best guess) who is ready to find his forever family. Duke is a happy, playful, people-loving pup who thinks everyone he meets is a potential best friend. He's wonderful with other dogs and loves having a canine buddy to play with. His favorite game? FETCH! He'll happily chase a toy, bring it back, and do it all over again. And if there's water involved? Even better!
