He is affectionate, crate trained, enjoys toys and playing fetch, walks nicely on leash and enjoys car rides. Cooper was raised in one home since he was a puppy. His life there was very stressful, which led to him being fearful of loud noises. He will need a quiet environment with someone who will give him time and space to feel comfortable in his new surroundings. Cooper is neutered, current on his shots, microchipped, loving, warm and friendly. Do you live alone, have no other animals, have a fenced in yard and are able to put Cooper in a private room away when you have company? If so, Cooper may be the dog for you. He is an excellent companion, he just can’t take a lot of excitement. Introducing the most beautiful blue eyed girl, Bagel! Bagel is 2-3 years old and is the perfect size right around 40 lbs. We aren’t sure what’s in her mix but maybe some bully/beagle. She arrived in NJ after being rescued from living in a tent with her 12 young puppies who have all since found their forever homes, and now it’s Bagel’s turn! Bagel absolutely loves people and is extremely gentle with them - she is great with adults and children alike. She is happy to chill out and cuddle with you on the couch but will happily follow you everywhere you go (especially the kitchen!). She is 100% housebroken and has never been destructive in her foster home. She rides calmly in the car and loves to look around at where you’re going. Bagel does have some reactivity to other dogs that she will need continued training on, but she is very treat motivated! She has lived with another small dog while in her foster home, but she would likely do best as an only dog or with a very patient and experienced family that can slowly introduce her to another dog. She cannot live with cats. She is spayed and utd on her vaccines. If you are looking for a very loyal and loving companion, then Bagel will make a great addition to your home. diesel is a five-year-old mixed breed dog. Diesel is our longest resident but a staff favorite. He loves long walks and playing in the pool in the summer. He loves stuffed toys and will play like a little puppy when he receives them. Diesel is house trained and may be able to live in the home with a female dog. Diesel does not show well due to him not being a fan of strangers, but once he gets to know you, you are in his heart for good. Diesels ideal home will be an adult only home with someone who understands the responsibility of owning a dog who does not warm up to people right away. Diesel will benefit from training and does great with the schedule and structure
