Animal Profile: Bodhi is a 3-year-old, 78-pound Beauceron mix. This happy guy is full of spunk and loves to play. Sadly, Bodhi found himself at risk in an overcrowded shelter simply because there wasn’t enough space. But despite it all, he never lost his happy spirit or wagging tail. His playful energy and friendly nature shine through in every interaction. Foster Update:  Bodh i is a really sweet boy who wants to be close to you! He is cute as a button and the type of dog that will lean against you whenever he gets the chance. He takes treats gently and is a smart boy who already knows 'sit,’ 'come,’ 'wait.’ We are working on 'down,’ and 'crate.’ When he first met our resident dog, Louise, and she growled, he was not reactive at all and just went about his business. Now they are fast friends and play very well together in spite of their size difference. Bodhi loves to play and loves ALL the toys! He will grab every toy from the basket and happily entertain himself. He doesn't want to destroy them and no toys have been eaten/chewed apart. He also doesn't care if Louise wants a toy–he will happily let her take it and find another one. He's a strong boy and can pull on leash, especially when we first start our walks, but he really wants to please and loves treats, so the little bit of training we've been doing with him has been going great. He is going to make his future family really happy!   Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, recent exam with a veterinarian, and microchip with lifetime registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was rescued from Stanislaus shelter in California, arriving to foster care in Seattle on 11/13 via START. Coyote is a sweet young German Shepherd who was rescued and then abandoned along with 39 others. We took him in and now he has learned to trust again after facing a difficult past of neglect and abuse. Coyote is incredibly loyal once he feels safe. He will be your best friend for life. Coyote is anxious to learn especially when he is rewarded with rubs and kisses. He has excellent leash manners and is a pleasure to walk. He is compatible with most dogs as long as there is a proper introduction. Supervision during introduction will allow for an easy transition in a home with another dog. He isn't compatible with cats and hasn't had exposure to children. Coyote deserves the chance of a loving home to call his own, ##2043739##
