Story
Animal Profile: Bodhi is an estimated 2-year-old, 75-pound Doberman Shepherd or possibly Beauceron mix. This guy is full of spunk and loves to play. Sadly, Bodhi found himself at risk in an overcrowded shelter simply because there wasn’t enough space.  Foster Update: Bodhi is a smart, biddable, confident and fun dog. He loves to play -- fetch, tug, wrestling, doesn't matter -- and work. He truly enjoys obedience training, and structured play is a great way to fill his cup. He is fully crate trained and house-trained and has great dog social skills with both large and small dogs. He has not been evaluated with cats and we would require cat testing prior to placement.  Bodhi is a guardian breed mix and absolutely needs a knowledgeable owner who can provide him leadership and structure, as well as enforce boundaries. Without this relationship dynamic, Bodhi is pushy with his people, and territorial to newcomers. WIth the right relationship dynamic, Bodhi is biddable with his person and accepting of new people. Bodhi will do best with an intentional owner who wants to do stuff with him (versus as a hang around the house, kind of pet) although Bodhi does absolutely have a chill setting and is not hyperactive in the home.  He runs well on a leash and goes on regular 3-mile runs with a volunteer. He knows sit, down -- with implied stays -- recalls with distractions, and walks nicely on leash. He is absolutely a lot of dog and a "dog person" will truly appreciate him. He would be too much for a first time or inexperienced dog owner.  Adopter Profile: Single family residence required No apartments or condos Fenced yard preferred (not required) Other dogs OK but not required Cats considered with evaluation Large breed experience required Training experience or commitment to learn required Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, recent exam with a veterinarian, and microchip with lifetime registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was rescued from Stanislaus shelter in California, arriving to foster care in Seattle on 11/13 via START. This dog will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.May 29, 2026, 10:54 am

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾⚡ Meet Kaiser — Big Energy, Bigger Heart, Certified Adventure Buddy ⚡🐾 Kaiser may look like he runs a biker gang, but don’t be fooled, he's just like the bun he's named after...hard on the outside but soft on the inside!! — this 41-lb pup in a tough-dog wrapper is all about fun, play, and good vibes. Born on 3/28/25, Kaiser is a young, athletic guy with enthusiasm for life turned up to maximum volume. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and on preventative, so his resume is just as solid as his jawline. Kaiser gets along with other dogs and loves to play — sometimes a little too enthusiastically — so he’d do best with dog friends who enjoy a good wrestling match and don’t mind his “all in” play style. 🐶 Kaiser’s Greatest Hits: ⚡ 41 lbs of high-octane fun ⚡ Very playful, very energetic, very entertaining ⚡ Gets along with all dogs (plays a bit rough — referee whistles not included) ⚡ Barks at cats but has had no contact with them ⚡ Walks into a room looking intimidating… leaves with everyone laughing ⚡ Absolute marshmallow on the inside Kaiser is dreaming of an active, outdoorsy family who wants a true adventure buddy. Hiking? He’s lacing up his imaginary boots. Exploring trails? He’s already in the lead. Backyard zoomies? Consider it handled. He thrives on movement, stimulation, and being included in the action. Despite his bold looks and boundless energy, Kaiser is a sweetheart who just wants to belong. He’s eager, playful, and full of potential — the kind of dog who will keep you laughing, moving, and never bored. If you’re looking for a hiking pawtner, a playful goof, and a dog who looks tough but cuddles like a pro… Kaiser is ready to roll. ✨ Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Kaiser power up your life! 🐾💥

Story
*Currently fostered in Houston Texas, available for out of state adoptions via rescue transportation. Video meet and greet available prior to commitment* This dog is a collaborative effort between Moka's Mission and Houston Chow Chow Connection. Mocha is a fluffy mixed pup just eager to find her new lease in life. She was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas just moments before being euthanized. She is believed to be around 4 years old, and based on behaviors definitely has GSD, Chow Chow, and even possibly husky mixed in her as well. Current weight around 65, 70 lbs. Mocha is a smiling, eager to please, extremely intelligent pup who clearly has been desperate for reaching a potential that was never offered to her prior. She loves to play with toys now, ( was unfamiliar with on arrival) and can be quirky, and vocal during her playful bouts. A game of tug which result in some head pats is her favorite. She also is very smart, and when given attention and motivation is quick to learn. She already knows several basic commands including sit, shake, kennel, wait, settle, and leave it. She is extremely versatile and once she trusts you, will give you her best. If you want to go hiking or exercise, she is all about it. If you want a pup to relax in the home and enjoy a movie day, she is ready! She loves to curl up on the couch or at your feet when it's time to settle down, but when it's time to go she is the first one to be there and ready for you. She also loves to keep you company while you do the most menial house chore's such as laundry or dishes. Mocha clearly was kept away from other dogs and animals when she was owned previously, so we do think she'd be best as an only pup. Proper continued socialization training would be required in order for her to eventually be able to share space with other dogs, but she would need to be socialized as an only dog first before considering adding another in. She clearly has a desire to want to know other dogs and can walk by them and flirt while on leash just fine during walks. However, she hasn't had enough time and proper playmates to engage in playtime at present without being rough. Unfortunately, she is not ok with cats, which is to be expected of the breeds she possesses. Mocha is fully vetted meaning she is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and on monthly prevention for flea, tick, and heartworm. Her adoption fee and transport is dependent on services used. For more information on Mocha, please contact us at MokasMission@Gmail.com, or to apply for adoption please fill out an application here: https://form.jotform.com/41173109602142

Story
May is an adorable 8-week-old shepherd mix with a curious spirit and the sweetest snuggles. As the last remaining puppy from a litter of 10 who found themselves at the local shelter, she’s patiently waiting for a family to finally call her own! This little explorer loves checking out the world around her, whether that means investigating new toys, following her doggie friends around the yard, or finding the perfect cozy lap for cuddle time. She’s playful, affectionate, and already showing what a smart and loving companion she’ll grow up to be. If you’re looking for a puppy with equal parts curiosity, sweetness, and puppy charm, May might just be your perfect match! Our best guess of breed is a small Shepherd mix based on her looks. 🐾 May is located in Texas. Her adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport and includes current shots, microchip and spay.
