Story
Hi! My name is Yarrow and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by an Animal Control Officer on 04/17/24.I currently weigh 46lbs and still growing! I am considered a `large breed` dog.I am a very smart dog! At the shelter I am practicing how to `sit`.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home!I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other [small dogs/large dogs]. When meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction.I am a puppy!! I will need to find a home where someone is available for me in these early days. It is important to be consistent with me and socialize me so I can have the best companionship with people and other animals. Puppies require patience because everything is brand new so I will need some TLC while I learn. I am not potty trained or crate training yet and teaching me those skills will help tremendously on a road to success! If you and your family are ready to fall in love my awesome self, please check me out!!I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!***April showers bring May flowers - and a lot of dogs at Regional Animal Services! Through May 31, you can `Pick Your Price` when you adopt an adult dog (six months or older). Adoption fees are $25, $50, $75, or $100, plus a pet license fee if applicable.***

Story
Smokey is a 1.5 year old lovable German Shepard / Great Dane mix. He is kennel trained, potty trained and loves to go for walks. He is loving and has a very sweet temperament. Unfortunately personal circumstances forced me to move and my new residence does not allow dogs. Smokey would be good with a family with a yard for him to play and run around.

Story
Hello! My name is Poppy. I came to RASKC as a stray and now I`m looking for a new home. I`m a bit shy when meeting new people. I definitely like to take things slow and get to know each other with no pressure. I`m a huge fan of food and it`s the way to my heart! Because I am so food motivated, training me should be a piece of cake. I`m looking for a quiet household where I can adjust at my own pace, go for leisurely walks and spend time with my people. I am a big dog. Currently, I weigh 120lbs! I am very overweight though and need to go on a health journey this summer. The excess weight I`m carrying around prevents me from living my life to the fullest and may even be causing some discomfort for my joints, especially since I`m an older dog. My new family should be prepared to work with their vet to determine how much I should weigh and how to help me lose weight safely. I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!***April showers bring May flowers - and a lot of dogs at Regional Animal Services!
