Story
Lucca is an 8-year-old Belgian Malinois (turning 9 in September) that I adopted in 2019. She is incredibly intelligent, loyal, and emotionally aware, and she bonds closely with her person. She thrives in an environment with structure, attention, and consistent mental and physical engagement. Lucca has a strong personality and does best as the only pet in the home, where she can receive focused attention. I am looking for an experienced owner familiar with working breeds (Malinois, German Shepherd, etc.) who understands their needs and can provide daily exercise, engagement, and leadership. Due to my current workload, health considerations, and time constraints, I’m no longer able to give her the level of attention she needs to truly thrive. This decision is about finding her the right environment.

Story
Nedd was a stray in Miami and I pulled him as a foster in early November. Technically, I adopted him last month, so that he could come with us on our move from FL to VA. The animal welfare situation down there is truly awful and I’m hoping for more luck finding his furever here. Nedd is approximately 8. Neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, Heartworm negative, and on preventatives. He knows basic commands like sit, down, shake, stay, wait, come, go get a toy, and more. He is currently working on some off-leash skills. He loves his morning walks/jogs, working on obedience, playing tug, fetch, and flirt pole. He does have prey drive, so no cats/small animals in the home. I have children that he does great with. I also have a Saint Bernard and a Great Pyrenees that he lives with. He is very handler focused. He is house trained and sleeps on a dog bed in our room all night long. He would come with a collar, leash, bag of Sundays Dog Food, beds, toys, and more!

Story
Seeking a highly qualified foster or adopter looking for a working or sport dog. Lycan is trained in German, knows bite work, has high ball drive, and was scheduled for euthanasia before we stepped in. Seeing the intelligence behind this dog, we sent him straight to a trainer. They confirmed what we already suspected—someone put real, professional work into him. He reads your hands, responds to commands, and is ready to work. He’s engaged, aware, and looking for direction. Maybe he flunked out of a program. Maybe he got lost. He didn’t have a tag or microchip, so we may never know. While we don’t know his exact breed or mix, some have suggested he may come from KNPV lines. That’s not our area to confirm, but we welcome feedback from those familiar with this type of dog. Aside from his drive, he’s excellent with people. Lycan will give you his paw and roll onto his back the second he meets you. He’s social, confident, and genuinely enjoys interaction. He loves to work. He wants a job. That’s where he’s happiest. Lycan is five years old, about 70 lbs, neutered, heartworm negative, and currently in boarding with a trainer until the right home is found. He’s medium to high drive and currently reactive to male dogs, which is manageable for someone experienced and familiar with dogs like him. We are looking for a specific home: sport, protection, or working, or simply someone who can handle this type of dog. Someone experienced who understands what they’re looking at and actually wants a dog like this. This is not a casual pet. He needs to be engaged and given a job so he can live up to his full potential, because that’s what he truly enjoys. Transport available anywhere in the U.S. to approved applicants. Current location: Houston, TX See #Lycan0192 on Facebook for more info.

Story
House trained: Yes Energy level: Medium Noise level: Quiet My foster guardian says: My favorite thing about Ozzy is the hilarious way he stretches! Likes: Going for hikes, playing at the dog park, riding in the car, being with my people Hi, Im Ozzy! My foster family describes me as a real gem because Im such a sweet, loving, gentle guy. My favorite place to be is with me people! If youre looking for a shepherd-shaped shadow to follow you around and give you all the love, Im the pup for you! Since moving in with my foster family, Ive made amazing progress in coming out of my shell. I can be a little nervous around strangers and big, scary noises, but I try my best to be brave everyday, and am gaining confidence by the week! When something is making me nervous, I head to my crate to decompress. That's my safe space! It also means that if youre someone who needs to go into the office for work, Id be happy to snooze in my crate or chill with my bones on the couch until you get back. Im a very laid-back, well-behaved guy. Im totally potty trained, Im very quiet in the house, and Im good at walking on-leash too. I like to take my time on walks, stopping to smell the roses, and maybe even sampling a few. My foster mom says that one of the cutest things I do is stopping in front of her on walks to get pets and attention. Even when Im out having a blast, I still want to make sure she knows I love her! One of my favorite things to do is go for hikes and spend time outside. It's not a must, but I'd love it if my forever family had a yard! In addition to being a perfectly well-mannered gentleman, Im also a smart cookie! I mean, I am a shepherd after all! I already know Sit, Down, and Come, and Id love to learn more tricks with my forever family! My favorite treats are...well, anything really! I especially love sweet potato flavored snacks and apple slices. I'm not picky though! If you're willing to share, I'm willing to give it a try! I live with doggy foster siblings, and we get along great. We love to play together with our toys, and just hanging out as a pack. I also like to make new canine friends, and I love playing at the dog park and doggy daycare. Being with other dogs boosts my confidence, so I think it would be awesome to have a dog sibling in my forever family! Being an only child would also be just fine with me, and Id even be fine having a cat sibling! I cant wait to meet my forever family, and start sharing all my love with them! If youre looking for a super handsome, loyal, loving pup to add to your pack, look no further! Apply to adopt me today!
