Her father is Louisiana Catahoula and her mother is Belgian Malinois, two of the most loyal and intelligent breeds. She is an 11 week old puppy and full of energy and love. She is not fully potty trained because she's too young to completely hold it for too long, but she will go on puppy pads if she can't get outside and is off to a good start in potty training. I have to move and I can't keep her so I'm looking for someone who wants a wonderful loving companion and will have the time and energy to play with her and walk her daily. Both her breeds are extremely trainable, great hunting and herding dogs and the Belgian Malinois is the main breed employed by law enforcement. She will be an excellent guard dog.

Hi! My name is SHA! I'm a big girl at 150lbs and I'm only just turned 3 years old! I have a lot of energy and I'm looking for a family that will take me on long walks or won't mind playing in the yard for a nice long session. I REALLY love being with my people, sometimes I get lonely or sad if they are gone for too long. I like other animals but I need to see if they like me and also give me time to adjust. I'm a little shy, and storms or new things make me a little skittish, but I try to learn them quick! Meet BowIe! Bowie is a 46 pound, 5 years old, sweet, loving shepherd mix (yes, we have a DNA test!) who is ready for her forever home. She is very friendly and loves being around her humans. Bowie would do best as the only dog in the home so she can have all the attention to herself and can be dog selective. She would do best in a home with no cats and has not been small child tested. Bowie was found dumped on the side of a country road in a rural area, left to fend for herself. She ran right up to a hunter for pets and followed him around the rest of the day. She is such an affectionate dog. As he drove away, he could see her in his rearview mirror slowly trying to follow his truck down the road. He could not stop thinking about her big brown eyes that seemed to look right into his soul. That is when he contacted a volunteer with DSDA and started the process to get her rescued. She is petite making her a great size for many homes. Bowie loves treats and dog toys, and she already knows how to sit on command and is leash and house trained. She enjoys relaxing in the backyard, especially if it includes belly rubs. She is very chill and happy to cuddle up with you on a recliner for a good movie. Bowie is spayed and has recently completed heartworm treatment. She is ready to move forward with a healthy, happy life in her new home. Bowie also likes to chase squirrels, so a secure yard would be a plus. Sunny will be 4 years old in July. We purchased her from an owner getting rid of puppies. We are looking for an owner experienced with owning pets, can manage a high energy dog with mild anxiety, and preferably has older children or no children. She is perfectly safe around babies and toddlers, but is anxious and unable to relax around them. That is the issue we have continued to run into and we have another baby on the way. Sunny has been house trained and obeys all basic commands. She will need some work if you plan to introduce her to other animals as we’ve never done that. A refresh on manners would be good as well - no jumping, waiting at the door, calm getting her leash on - all doable but we have been letting slide recently. She is beyond loyal, loves to play, and wants you to hold her paw when you give her scratches. Brushing and basic grooming are a must as she is a long haired breed. Sunny is a wonderful dog who deserves wonderful owners. We hope we can find that for her.

I received Roman from a friend about 2 years ago. He's a great dog and extremely loyal. He is always on alert and ready to work. He's not really trained. He knows his sit and wait commands although he doesn't hold it if distracted. He loves walks but pulls a bit and absolutely loves water. He'll jump in the lake if I'd let him. Full transparency his only challenge is he's very protective and will bark seemingly aggressively which usually scares people. He did the same with me upon meeting me but within 10 minutes he was laying on his belly getting belly rubs. I'm unable to keep him because I'm moving due to life changes and my new living arrangements will not allow him to stay with me

We did a DNA test on her and she is 91.3% American pit bull and 8.7% German Shepherd. She is an extremely smart pup. She knows sit, and doing well with stay, wait, leave it and off. She is dog and people friendly. She would probably do fine with dog friendly cats and proper introductions. She did ignore a cat in foster home yard recently. She will probably weigh around 40-50lbs as an adult. She is working on crate training and potty training and doing well. She loves car rides and pup cups from Starbucks. Application required.
