Story
DAISY and POPPY ARE SIBLINGS. All abandoned in the country. There were originally three and one was adopted on her own. We have had these precious girls many months now, with plenty of opportunities to watch their interactions and play style. While, in general, we do NOT recommend adopting siblings, these two have proven to be the exception to the rule. They LOVE each other and have never, ever had a raised lip, a side-eyed look, a growl or anything else. We would really love for them to be adopted together. HOWEVER, WE WILL CONSIDER ADOPTING THEM SEPARATELY. All the girls are very smart, but Daisy is especially so. Daisy will sit and watch the hummingbirds and watch for the squirrels! We laughingly call Daisy the "good sister" because she is low key and wants to please you - obeying whatever you ask. If the sisters were in high school, Daisy would be on the debate team and in honors classes. For more information on adopting Daisy, please email Gail at can.adoptions@yahoo.com.

If Poppy were in high school she would be a cheerleader and probably Queen of the Prom. Her personality is a wonderful match to Daisy's low key independence. Story
Nathan is a total love bug! He is shy at first but bonds quickly.  He loves his people.  He loves to snuggle and be close to his human. Nathan is dog and kid friendly.  He has not been around cats, but given his demanor, it is likely that with proper introductions, he would do just fine with them as well! Nathan is more of a cuddler than anything.  He enjoys finding the smallest dog bed in the house to nap on, then stretch across the floor or next to his human on bed at night.   This sweet boy is more than ready for a family of his own!  He is fully vaccinated, neutered, current on prevention and microchipped.  He is house trained. ##1200161##

Story
Hazel is a 4 year old Black Mouth Cur. My wife and I adopted her summer of 2020. We are looking to rehome Hazel to a good home of someone who loves and understands dogs. She is incredibly smart with great potential for additional training. Positives: Hazel has a good amount of energy and needs room to run and play. She has been taught how to swim in a large pond and will retrieve thrown balls from the water. She mostly knows fetch but will sometimes keep the ball to play keep away. Her favorite game is tug. She will hold onto a rope while being spun in circles with all 4 feet off the ground. She absolutely loves to snuggle. She prefers to always be touching or laying next to someone she loves. Negatives: Hazel likes to bark at people who visit, mostly out of excitement. She does well in dog parks with other dogs but will bark at other dogs while on a leash. She was hurt by a mean cat in one of her first experiences with cats so now treats cats with the same disdain as squirls.

Story
Sadie has so much love to give. She is calm outside and with family. She sometimes reacts to unknown human. She gets along with other dogs and doesn’t mind the cats. She would also do very well as an only dog. She is both house and crate trained. She needs leash work but knows basic commands. Sit, laydown, stay, etc. She has a rash on her back. We were told by an online vet that it is probably a bacterial infection. We have not been able to afford treatment. It has cleared up some on its own. It has not been contagious to other dogs. Sadie was rescued from being sent to a kill shelter. We do not know her breed. We were told part Golden Retriever but we don’t see it. We guess mostly Black Mouth Cur. Sister Portuguese Water Dog maybe can come with. We hate to do this as we love Sadie very much. But my husband has been out of work for 2 years and I am disabled so we can’t give Sadie the life she deserves. Are you the person Sadie is looking for? Please contact us.
