This cutie does not meet a stranger. She greets everyone with a big doggie smile on her cute face. She appears to be a Blackmouth Cur/terrier mix. Swifty is pretty much a social butterfly with other dogs at the shelter. She has not shown any aggression when meeting other dogs. All the volunteers can’t say enough good things about her. He’s doing very well in potty training (only one accident in the house).  He’s so smart and already crate trained, and eager to go outside to potty and walks well on a leash. He really loves being outside, playing, chasing balls and basking in the sun. He’s got lots of energy and lots of love to give.  Simon does very well with other dogs and all people he meets.  We think Simon may be a Blackmouth Cur and Carolina dog mix.  He currently weighs around 45 pounds and should weigh around 60 when fully grown.  Simon is truly a loving and fun doggie who will bring years of joy to some very lucky family.  He is fully vetted and ready for his forever home.  His foster family reports he is just super.  Please email steffeniegaprescue.com for more info.April 25, 2024, 9:09 pm

DAISY is about one year of age, heartworm negative and on preventative, fully vetted and microchipped.  Both girls are very smart, but Daisy is especially so. Daisy will sit and watch the hummingbirds and watch for the squirrels!  We laughingly call Daisy the "good sister" because she is low key and wants to please you - obeying whatever you ask.  She and her sister are learning about toys and balls and enjoying having a loving foster home. A Good Samaritan took them in and called us to care for them and find them great homes!! WAGGY, KISSY, WAGGY, KISSY, WAGGY, KISSY!!!  POPPY is about one year of age, heartworm negative and on preventative, fully vetted and microchipped. Hazel is a 4 year old Black Mouth Cur. My wife and I adopted her summer of 2020. We are looking to rehome Hazel to a good home of someone who loves and understands dogs. She is incredibly smart with great potential for additional training. Hazel has a good amount of energy and needs room to run and play. She has been taught how to swim in a large pond and will retrieve thrown balls from the water. She mostly knows fetch but will sometimes keep the ball to play keep away. Her favorite game is tug. She will hold onto a rope while being spun in circles with all 4 feet off the ground. She absolutely loves to snuggle. She prefers to always be touching or laying next to someone she loves.

Bolt is a big ole country boy that needs space. He is a pandemic pup so really all he knew was family. He gets along well with our most other dogs as long as they aren't threatening. He is weary of new people and children. And doesn't like cats. He would probably do best in a home without kids and not a lot of guests coming and going. He has a lot of personality.Once he gets to know you, he is THE SWEETEST! Bolt is food driven, loves to play, loves to chase (squirrels, rodents, birds, lizards..)Will be a great hunting companion and would need some running around space. Loves belly rubs and outside time. He is crate trained and spends nights in his crate, which he likes.Takes time to get comfy with strangers otherwise, he's pretty fearless. He is house trained, crate trained, has many commands down (sit, come, stay, leave it, no jump, no bite, paw, down. drop it, on guard) and is very trainable. He is big, playful and full of energy and will be an amazing guard and protector.He will come with crate, training collar and muzzle (if needed).
