They were the lucky 2 because the other 4 pups in their litter were given away. Thankfully we will ensure these 2 sweet girls get fully vetted, and loving forever homes which we can only hope their siblings will have one day. These girls have gotten so confident and they have become so playful. They are almost sleeping through the nights now and they’re doing amazing with walks and potty training!! They are crate trained, and almost housetrained. Definitely very smart and trainable pups! They saw our vet this past week and Biggie weighed in at 15 lbs and Carti at 18.5 lbs. At about 1.5 years old and 45–50 lbs, he’s the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and lovable companion. Pickles is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and is both potty trained and crate trained. He does wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids, making him a great fit for many types of families. This boy is very playful and energetic—still very puppy-like and a bit jumpy—so he’d thrive with an active family who enjoys staying on the move. He absolutely loves being around people and is happiest when he’s included in daily activities. Pickles would do best in a home with a secure, fenced-in yard (wooden fencing preferred), as he’s quite the climber. Hi, my name is Mellow, and I was camping out under the Christmas Tree at my foster home, watching and waiting for Santa to bring me a new forever home! But, alas, no forever home yet. I'm still optimistic that the new year will bring me luck and a new forever home. I am one of a litter of 4 that was abandoned on the side of the road, locked in a crate, in the heat of summer. A Good Samaritan found us and took us to the vet who saved our lives. I have fully recovered and I am thriving in my foster home. Foster mom says that I am the sweetest little cuddle bug ever! I love romping around with other dogs, but I am also perfectly happy to entertain myself with toys. I may be a little shy when you first meet me, but it won't take long before I will be trotting around after you from room to room and sitting attentively by your side. All you need is Love....and Buttons! He is six months old and weighs about 30 lbs. We are guessing he is a Black Mouth Cur, possibly mixed with Basenji. Buttons rarely barks! Everyone who meets Buttons loves Buttons! He is sweet, funny, goofy, loveable, and affectionate. He loves toys, but he can defluff and desqueak toys in record time, so durable chew toys are best for him. He loves play wrestling with the other dog in his foster home, and they run zoomies and play chase in the backyard. Buttons has an affectionate side too. He loves to lie on foster mom's lap, and he doesn't have a clue that he's getting too big to be a lap dog. He stares at her with his big beautiful brown eyes so intently that she has to laugh.
