Duke is a sweet 7 month old puppy. Black Mouth Cur. We found him when he was 6 weeks ( he was starving). and have been taking care of him. He has all his shots and vet said not to neuter him until he was 1 year. He has a lot of energy and loves to run and play. We don't have the home or yard to accommodate him. He has been working with a trainer and does understand commands. Sit, Down, Stay. Come. He also lives at night in crate. We have cats and he knows not to mess with the cats. He loves taking walks. He loves his kibble treats. He does go in the pool but doesn't like to swim yet. He likes putting his paws in the water. We call him Dukie... he is a love but he needs an experienced owner who knows how to work with an energetic puppy!

She greets everyone with a big doggie smile on her cute face. She appears to be a Blackmouth Cur/terrier mix. Swifty is pretty much a social butterfly with other dogs at the shelter. She has not shown any aggression when meeting other dogs. All the volunteers can’t say enough good things about her. She will need a home with a 6’ wooden fence. He’s doing very well in potty training (only one accident in the house). He’s so smart and already crate trained, and eager to go outside to potty and walks well on a leash. He really loves being outside, playing, chasing balls and basking in the sun. He’s got lots of energy and lots of love to give. Simon does very well with other dogs and all people he meets. We think Simon may be a Blackmouth Cur and Carolina dog mix. He currently weighs around 45 pounds and should weigh around 60 when fully grown. Simon is truly a loving and fun doggie who will bring years of joy to some very lucky family. He is fully vetted and ready for his forever home. His foster family reports he is just super. This sweet 12 month old Blackmouth Cur/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix is great with dogs of all sizes. Finley came to us extremely emaciated, but he is now thriving with the loving care of his foster. He now weighs 32 pounds and should weigh around 40 to 45. His current foster has only great things to say about him. He is potty trained, sleeps in his kennel all night, and has a sparkling personality. He is going to make some family a fantastic doggie. Finley is neutered and up to date on shots. Animal Services has new operating hours! We will now be open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and closed Friday through Sunday. In addition to these hours, we will be available after-hours, including Fridays and Saturdays, by appointment. Each girl has her own personality. If you don't know much about this "breed" I can tell you they are great family dogs! DAISY is about one year of age, heartworm negative and on preventative, fully vetted and microchipped. Both girls are very smart, but Daisy is especially so. Daisy will sit and watch the hummingbirds and watch for the squirrels! We laughingly call Daisy the "good sister" because she is low key and wants to please you - obeying whatever you ask.
