COURTESY POST: Reba is a sweet and loyal 3-year-old, 33 lb Blue Heeler/Beagle mix who would love to be adopted by someone who has acreage. She has lots of energy and has a big personality. She is fearless and spunky. Reba thrives in an adult-oriented home, where she can enjoy the company of her humans without the unpredictable energy of young children. While she's a sweetheart, her skittishness around little ones suggests she'd be happiest in a calmer environment. She craves human interaction and thrives in a home where she's included as a member of the family. Reba's charming mix brings together the intelligence and loyalty of the Blue Heeler with the gentle nature and affectionate spirit of the Beagle. Reba loves to run and play in the yard, chasing squirrels and relishing in the freedom of open spaces. But when the day is done, she transforms into the ultimate cuddle buddy, snuggling up beside you for a cozy evening. She truly hasn't met a stranger and is eager to greet you. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and spirited companion, Reba might just be the perfect match! We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Story
Say hello to the affectionate Venus! This 4.5-year old, 50 lbs mixed breed is full of warmth and fuzziness. We welcomed her into our lives in December 2020 after adopting from Trinity GAP Rescue, and it's been amazing ever since. Venus has a vibrant personality and absolutely loves to cuddle. She gets along with other dogs and currently lives with her twin brother. One of Venus' favorite things is curling up with their humans for some cozy snuggles and she'll beg you to pet him. An ideal home for Venus would be one with a place outside where she can run around. She is crate, leash, and house trained, and knows to sit and shake. This clever little one also loves bones. This adoring dog is more than ready to find their forever home. Could that be with you? Hello my name is Badger, I was found wondering a country road with my littermates. I have come out of my shell and am really liking working on commands, leash walking and playing with toys. I am very content to also lay down and chew on my antler. I am a very sweet boy, even though I can be shy with new things. I have adapted well to going in my crate for meal time and for sleeping. I am a bit of an adventure and a problem solver, so I am okay with going off by myself without my sisters. I am learning to love getting all the pets and snuggles, I wasnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t quite sure at first but now I enjoy it. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. Hello my name is Birdie and I was found on the side of the road with three of my siblings, running in the country. Even with everything that happened I am sweet and love cuddles. Will give kisses and just want to find my own person or family. I have been introduced to a crate for eating and sleeping, which I have done really well with! I am the shyest of my siblings and often get bullied out of things. When working on leash walking, commands like sit, down, come and place I am very much into working for food and gain so much confidence which each outing. I LOVE to sit in my fosters lap and snuggle, hogging all the pets and kisses I can and will even burrow my head into her neck. I could do that for as long as she would let me. I like to chew on my antler and am just figuring out what toys are and they are fun. Story
Casper IS A GORGEOUS Heeler-Aussie mix. The perfect blend of loving, smart, and loyal; Casper is a great size and would be an excellent playmate or single dog. Casper is lovable and gentle but heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s still a herding mix so he has incredible energy. He is very intelligent, playful and loving and eager to please his people. Casper will be as energetic as you need when outdoors to walk, run, play and hike but when home he will also happily snuggle on the sofa, binge TV or just lie at your feet while youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re working. Casper is very loving and smart but deserving of more attention than owners can give with baby on the way; he would enjoy continued training and a lot of playtime and exercise. Casper has been around female dogs and various cats. He knows basic commands and is completely housebroken and crate-trained. Casper is a great walking, jogging and running partner. Casper is really smart, a quick learner and eager to please. Leash trains quite well but could use some continued attention. We really want to find Casper a home with a yard and an active human companion or companions. He would also love to run around with other dogs - heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s just better for teenagers and adults not small children because he needs herding breed experience. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Casper, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org. Age: 2 years Age: 2 years Weight: 32 lbs  Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Unknown Good with kids:  Selective Activity level: Medium Shedding: Low Vocal level: Medium Training: Crate, Doggy Door, Mostly Potty Trained Maddy is a petite little girl with a shepherd face and the cutest pointy ears and underbite. She had her back right leg amputated and is happier and faster than ever! She was born with a deformed leg that our vet determined was causing her pain and made it harder for her to get around. Maddy is timid around new people, but with a little time (and plenty of treats!) she warms up and understands you are safe to be around. She adapts to adults faster than children and will probably do better in a home with no kids or older, patient kids. Maddy does great with other dogs and loves to play with her foster siblings! She also likes to spend time hanging out in the backyard or napping on the couch.March 22, 2025, 8:37 am

Story
It's the Great Adoption Post, Charlie Brown! Meet Charlie Brown, a spunky, zesty lil fireball of a dog in a pint-sized package. Weighing in around 30-35 lbs, he's sitting pretty right at about 1 year old, neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped and up to date on shots. Charlie has had a bit of a rough start with two other owners before we were able to swoop in and provide him with sanctuary and love. With his coat medium/long in length, a bushy tail, and that happy smile he radiates, is sure to capture the hearts of others He initially came to us super fearful and scared but we could see it in his eyes how bad he wanted to learn how to be a dog. Charlie's energy is like that of an energizer bunny, he could definitely keep going and going. His style is fast but mild at the same time, making great dog friends along the way. He does however seem to mistake big white fluffy dogs for sheep, so keep that in mind! Oops! Since this buddy is of the heeler lineage, he loves the mental stimulation of having a job or a task. He also adores his routines and would benefit greatly to have a backyard, a few walkies, and snuffle mats. He would do wonderfully also in a family without young children or cats, as he can get spooked by people sneaking up near him if he doesn't know recognize you at first. Once he knows you're never going to harm him, he lets his guard down and slowly will solicit pets from you too! He knows 'sit' 'paw or highfive' and 'down' and would also enjoy some dog agility classes as well ti keep his brain stimulated. Charlie Brown is crate trained, potty trained and super smart with that mind of his. He's also a quick learner and just wants to please his people after a long day of play or hard work. In a perfect world, I would love to see this dog thriving again with the right home that understands heelers/shepherds. We adore this lil guy and are wanting him to have the best life ever, 3rd times the charm! In conclusion if you fancy a sporty lil fluffball of a dog whose loyal, smart, and happy to exist, let's set that meet and greet Thank you guys so much for stopping by his page!! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Charlie Brown, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org.
