Story
Calling all families looking for an energetic, playful goof ball of a dog! This boy is it! Archie is a fun-loving, romp in the yard, get dirty kind of guy. He hasn't met a dog or person that he doesn't love. He is looking for high adventure and maybe even a doggy sibling or two (he can wear them out!). Archie is crate-trained, needs some work on potty-training, and also practice riding in a car. He is learning to leash walk using a gentle leader and doing very well! If you are ready to turn your dull days into epic adventures, then Archie is waiting for you! Did I mention he is a sweet guy too?FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
We love Haukea. His birthday is 12/12/19. He went to puppy play, was socialized, went to the dog park and had a yard of his own. We lived in Washington State. When he was 1yr old he fell out of the back car window. It was during covid and we rushed him to the only open animal hospital. The doctor did exploratory surgery on his front left foreleg and found nothing wrong. Four weeks later he was still not standing on his paw normally. 3 vets later, after red light laser, acupuncture, twice weekly water therapy and over $7000 he was still not able to stand on his paw normally. We just gave up trying to fix it. We have recently moved to downtown Detroit into a high rise apartment. Howie doesn’t get to socialize with other dogs here and desperately wants to. He has no soft grass or real playtime. We never castrated him for ethical reasons. He always was extremely passive. Without dog parks walking only on concrete he limp more and is developing fear of other dogs.

Story
DiDi was born on June 25 2022. We adopted him when he was 8 weeks old. DiDi is our 2nd border collie after we lost our first one to a car accident after 8 months of owning him. DiDi means “little brother” in Chinese. Technically DiDi is the first dog that we got a chance to understand Border Collie as a breed. He is very smart and super energetic. He wants to play all the time. He is very friendly with strangers, likes to be petted, but he is not a companion. He doesn’t misbehave, doesn’t bark most of the time, never bites, but he is not a companion. We have tried to build a bond with him. But unfortunately we are not the right fit for his personality. The only time he would come to us is when he wants to play. As soon as he senses we are done playing, he would walk away and stay by himself. He has his own mind and determined. We don’t feel we are wanted by him except when he wants to play. He is a good dog, but we are not good enough for him.
