Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Welcome Jupiter to DASH! This young girl came to DASH from a rural shelter in southern Ohio. She is housebroken, very sweet and enjoys being with her person. She is a high activity girl and will need an active person or family who can give her an outlet for that energy. She is said to be crate trained, housebroken and walks well on a leash. She is currently in our DASH Prison program where her handler says "Jupiter is a fun loving and ready to please dog. she loves fetch or laying around with her person. She gets along with all the dogs she has met. She is ready to melt your heart with her constant licks of love and loves being loved on!" She has not been kid or cat tested. If you are ready for a buddy to go with you hiking or biking or any adventures or have a job for her to do, she is perfect for that and waiting for her forever home!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 29, 2026, 1:42 pm

Medium• Bio:  Meet Rumor Rumor is a 16-week-old double merle Heeler who is deaf and visually impaired, but don’t let that fool you—this little girl is full of confidence, love, and personality! Rumor came to Speak! For The Unspoken from southern Indiana with her sister, Secret, after the girls found themselves in a shelter needing a second chance. Since arriving in foster care, Rumor has proven that her disabilities don’t slow her down one bit. She is incredibly people-oriented and absolutely lives for cuddles. If you’re sitting down, expect Rumor to be right beside you (or preferably in your lap!). She loves being around her humans and is happiest when she’s included in whatever you’re doing. Rumor also adores other dogs and enjoys having canine friends to play and snuggle with. She has been wonderful with children and truly seems to enjoy their company. Rumor is gentle, affectionate, and patient, happily soaking up attention from kids and curling up beside them for snuggles. She loves being part of the action, whether that’s joining in family activities, following the kids around the yard, or settling in for a movie night on the couch. Despite being a Heeler, she does not chase or nip at children, making her an exceptional fit for a family looking for a puppy who is both playful and gentle. One of Rumor’s most impressive accomplishments? She is fully crate trained and will often put herself to bed when she’s tired. She’s a smart girl who thrives on routine and has adapted beautifully to the world around her. Rumor is already spayed and is nearly ready to find her forever family. She will receive her final round of puppy vaccines during the second week of July, and after that she will officially be available for adoption. This special girl may experience the world differently, but she doesn’t let that stop her from living life to the fullest. All she wants is a family who will love her, spoil her with cuddles, and appreciate the incredible dog she is. Her foster family describes her as the total package—sweet, social, cuddly, dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and always ready to share her love. Story
Murphy came in with his brother Mack. Both are sweet, loving, mid- to high-energy boys. Murphy started out more independent than his brother and still probably is a bit, but he also seeks out attention from time to time and can be very affectionate. Murphy looks more like pure Aussie than his brother, but he may still be mixed. We'd love Murphy and Mack to be adopted together. They are bonded and thrive in each other's company and the company of other dogs. A physically fenced yard is required. Murphy is available for adoption in Ohio to residents of Ohio. If you are interested in adopting Murphy, please complete the online application here (copy and paste into your browser): https://hhdane.formstack.com/forms/lostpetrecoveryadoptionform

Story
Mack came in with his brother Murphy. Both are sweet, loving, mid- to high-energy boys. Mack has been just about the sweetest boy ever from moment one—extremely affectionate and just loves giving you big Mack hugs. He loves when you let him be a Velcro dog, but don’t get the wrong idea—when you need your own space, he is very good about not being pushy about it. Mack’s brother Murphy looks more like pure Aussie, but we’re pretty sure that’s Mack’s mix as well. We'd love Mack and Murphy to be adopted together.
