The girls are the result of double merle breeding and found themselves in a shelter needing extra care and patience. Despite the challenges she was born with, Rumor is a happy, loving puppy who approaches life with confidence and curiosity. She may not see or hear the world the same way other dogs do, but that doesn’t stop her from exploring, learning, and soaking up affection every chance she gets. Rumor forms strong bonds quickly and absolutely loves her people — if she had the choice, she would spend all day curled up beside you or following you from room to room like your tiny shadow. She also enjoys being around other dogs, especially calm and gentle pups who respect her space and help build her confidence. Rumor would thrive with small dog friends her size that she can safely run, wrestle, and play with. Watching her interact with dogs she trusts is enough to make anyone smile. Like any young puppy, Rumor is still learning the basics. We are currently working on crate and pen training. She does squeak and protest for a little while when settling in, but once she realizes she’s safe, she eventually calms down and relaxes. She’s a smart little girl who is already learning routines and gaining confidence every day. Rumor may need a home willing to be patient and understanding as she continues to navigate the world differently, but in return she offers endless love, loyalty, and sweetness. She is proof that being different does not make a dog any less capable of living a joyful, fulfilling life.  ***PLEASE READ*** WE DO NOT RESPOND TO PETFINDER OR EMAIL INQUIRIES. She came to Speak! from a wonderful foster down south alongside her brother, both getting a strong start—but finding the right adopter has been a bit more challenging. Florence is incredibly smart, sweet, and always ready for her next adventure. Whether she’s exploring the outdoors, learning new routines, or simply soaking up time with her people, she brings a sense of joy and curiosity to everything she does. She especially loves playing in the water and does great with bath time, making her a fun and easy companion in more ways than one. She already knows how to sit for treats and responds to a hand signal for “come,” showing just how capable and eager she is to learn. Florence often follows other dogs, looking to them for guidance and companionship, and she truly enjoys having canine friends around her. She does well with other dogs and would do best in a home with older or dog-savvy kids to help set everyone up for success. Florence will thrive with someone patient and committed who understands just how special she is and is willing to continue helping her build confidence and communication. In return, she’ll offer unwavering loyalty, affection, and a one-of-a-kind bond. Could you be the one she’s been waiting for? ***PLEASE READ*** WE DO NOT RESPOND TO PETFINDER OR EMAIL INQUIRIES. Artie is loyal dog. He likes to play but also enjoys laying around and be lazy. He’s attune to all noises and movements and doesn’t do well with kids in his space. He may bark and nip at them if they get too close. He has the tendency to resource guard his food sometimes. The kitchen exhaust fan scares him but he’ll ignore it for a piece of cheese.Artie is trained and knows basic commands. Hes very smart. He goes to doggy daycare regularly so he is good with other dogs. He is also has a cat sister and wants to chase and play her when she allows it. He’s a great running partner.Artie is a great friend, loyal, affectionate to the people he trusts, and full of character. He would do best in a home that understands his personality and gives him the space and comfort to truly flourish.Artie is 2.5 years old and his birthday is November 13th. Up to date on his shots and is neutered.

Story
Murphy came in with his brother Mack. Both are sweet, loving, mid- to high-energy boys. Murphy started out more independent than his brother and still probably is a bit, but he also seeks out attention from time to time and can be very affectionate. Murphy looks more like pure Aussie than his brother, but he may still be mixed. We'd love Murphy and Mack to be adopted together. They are bonded and thrive in each other's company and the company of other dogs. A physically fenced yard is required. Murphy is available for adoption in Ohio to residents of Ohio. If you are interested in adopting Murphy, please complete the online application here (copy and paste into your browser): https://hhdane.formstack.com/forms/lostpetrecoveryadoptionform

Story
Mack came in with his brother Murphy. Both are sweet, loving, mid- to high-energy boys. Mack has been just about the sweetest boy ever from moment one—extremely affectionate and just loves giving you big Mack hugs. He loves when you let him be a Velcro dog, but don’t get the wrong idea—when you need your own space, he is very good about not being pushy about it. Mack’s brother Murphy looks more like pure Aussie, but we’re pretty sure that’s Mack’s mix as well. We'd love Mack and Murphy to be adopted together. They are bonded and thrive in each other's company and the company of other dogs. A physically fenced yard is required. Mack is available for adoption in Ohio to residents of Ohio.
