All of her pups have since been adopted but she is still patiently waiting on someone to call her their girl. She loves walks and just discovered how much she loves the sand volleyball court! This sweet girl came to DASH fearful and shy with little confidence. She has made great strides in the DASH Prison Training Program. Her handler says " Luna is better than a good pet, she's a good friend and a great roommate". She will do best with a family who responds in a calm, relaxed approach with a confident pack leader. She is highly intelligent, and for the most part not too energetic, but an active family is best for this girl. She is affectionate, loving & loyal. Her foster said she is the biggest snuggle bug & loves to be right next to her people although she is selective!! Luna is the perfect girl when given the time to settle in!! She's a great dog who just needs a chance with a family that has time for her. She will need time to decompress, with love & patience to show her she is safe & part of the family. Luna is not cat-friendly but is sociable with other dogs, however, she does not tolerate puppies. She has not been "kid tested" so proper meet & greets are always in order. Lola is a 3 year-old cattle dog mix who weighs 57 lbs. She arrived at CHA from our shelter partner, ASPCA. Lola is a sweet, social girl who loves to meet new people and other dogs. She has been in numerous playgroups and is very versatile, adjusting her playstyle based on her playmates. While she enjoys playing with other dogs in the yard, her favorite thing to do is run and chase the hose water. She LOVES water, and can often be found lounging in the kiddie pool. She is also highly motivated by treats and loves to learn. She already knows sit and lay on command. This super smart girl also walks very well on leash and is always responsive to her handlers.
