BEST DOG EVER! LOVES PEOPLE AND OTHER DOGS! Missing out on an excellent family pet. Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com I need a family with an owned house with yard and a friendly dog friend I can play with. Bonnie is a female 1 yr old 41 lb Border Collie. She loves other dogs and people. She is an energetic, very affectionate and smart gal that likes playing with her foster dogs and toys. She likes to swim too. She is crate trained. She is a great companion for an active/outdoorsy family with a securely fenced yard. She is an indoor dog that will enjoy daily walks/hikes and some dog training. No apartments! No cats please. Border Collie experience highly recommended. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 500,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.

Story
Skye (female) and Sam (male). Take a peek at these blond beauties!!! They have the sweetest eyes and pretty pick piggy noses. These two are just a bundle of bouncing happiness. They are learning what it is like to be cuddled and think they like it so far. They just got into their foster home located in Memphis, Tennessee and were a little shy to begin with but that is getting less and less daily (practically hourly). They love to romp and play with each other and are very curious about the adult dogs in the home. These two are catching on to the good life fast and seem to be quick learners. Once adopted they will travel via Rescue Vet Transport to their new family. They travel each and every weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the north east, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. If you would like to make either one of these cuties part of your family please follow the link below to our adoption application. Our turnaround time is typically less than 24 hours so please be prepared before you submit your application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

STOP! The cuteness is unfathomable! Imagine a pint sized nugget that gives a little grunt when you go in for a squeeze/hug. Taffy and Tilly are loving life right now not much to do other than eat, play, sleep, repeat. They frolic until pooped then snuggle down for a nice long nap. They both have the sweetest dispositions. They are in a foster home in Memphis , Tn with other foster doggies and lots of comings and goings so very well adjusted to noises like vacuum cleaners, barking dogs, washing machines and general daily chaos . Once adopted, they will travel to the northeast via Rescue Vet Transport. (additional cost of $185). They leave Memphis, Tennessee each weekend, Friday mornings, usually around 6 AM and make transport stops along the route all the way up to West Greenwich, Rhode Island. If you would like to make one of these cuties a part of your family, please follow the link below to our adoption application. As always, thank you for choosing to adopt! Story
· Intake Reason: strayKnown with:· Cats: unknown· Dogs: came in with another dog· Kids: unknown· Personality:Hi there, my name is Chulo and I am quite cute. I was out and about with my friend, Donut, before we were brought in as strays to WCHS. Even though we took comfort in being out on our own together, we do not need to find a new home together; unless, of course, you happen to be looking for two spectacular dogs. I am hoping for an active home where I will get plenty of physical and mental exercise every day because I have lots of energy to burn. I am friendly and playful and am always up for a good time. I have had the opportunity to participate in playgroups at the shelter and that is fun but I must say that I prefer to hang out with calm dogs. I am simply not a fan of rowdy and rambunctious pups. Although I am still a lively dude, I am mature and prefer my playmates to be polite. I am an affectionate lad and love cuddles and tender scratches but I realize that since I weigh about 73 pounds, I may be a skosh too big for your lap. I know the cues for ‘sit', ‘down' and ‘shake/paw' and do enjoy learning so I hope you will help me understand more human words. Perhaps we could take some classes together so I can keep my beautiful brain busy and engaged. I think I might like mentally challenging toys and games and maybe we can practice nose work; I do have quite a fabulous schnoz. I certainly hope you stop by to check me out; I am sure I will razzle-dazzle you with my brilliance.#1

Story
Layla is 36 lbs and 5-6 years old and also high energy! She loves to chase balls, but needs a few lessons on retrieving. She'll nose you to get you off the couch to play, and will bark at you until you pick up a ball and throw it. This girl is also a fan of belly rubs, which she will reward with kisses. She has a herding instinct, which has mellowed a bit in the past couple of months. She also will need a home without children, cats and small critters. She needs a bit of time to get to know new people and dogs, and we are working with our vet on this. Layla is spayed and fully vaccinated. She will need a fenced yard and an experienced handler with a strong understanding of the breed and a willingness to provide lots of exercise and tennis balls.
