Anne Bonnie was found with her mom and siblings dumped on the side of the road. She had been hit by a car so was taken into the vet while the rest of her litter went to the shelter. her leg was broken, but she has since been treated by the vet and is healing up really well. Her cast is off and she has instructions to walk and move around to stretch it out. She is the sweetest and friendliest little pup who loves any attention. She likes to play with other dogs but also loves relaxing. She gets along with dogs, cats, and kids. She is working on potty training, crate training, and walks well on a leash. She is currently in Georgia being fostered with the Habersham Humane Society and will be brough up in the next couple weeks to Wi to be adopted.
Meet Anne Bonnie – the sweetest little pirate pup with a heart of gold!
This brave girl was found with her mom and siblings after being dumped on the side of the road. Sadly, Anne Bonnie had been hit by a car and was rushed to the vet while her littermates went to the shelter. Her leg was broken, but thanks to expert care and her fighting spirit, she’s healing beautifully! Her cast is off and she’s now stretching her legs, taking short walks, and getting stronger every day.
Anne Bonnie is an absolute sweetheart. She adores attention, gets along with other dogs, cats, and even kids, and has the perfect mix of playful energy and chill cuddle time. She’s working on her potty training and crate manners, and she walks great on a leash already.
Currently being fostered in Georgia through Habersham Humane Society, Anne Bonnie will be heading up to Wisconsin in the next couple weeks to find her forever family.
If you’re looking for a loving, resilient companion with the gentlest soul—Anne Bonnie might just be your perfect match.

2.) Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.
3.) Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: After approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5-day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it’s the right fit.
4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue.
5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have.
