Story
Everyone meet Willow. Willow has the most beautiful chocolate coat. She is currently 4 and a half years old and weighs appx 45lbs. Willow is spayed and completely house trained. Willow is out of all the puppy stages and is just a joy to have around. She gets along with all dogs big and small. Willow pulls a bit on leash but loves walks and is a great car riding companion. This girl can’t get enough belly rubs and is usually found walking around with a toy in her mouth. Willow can be a bit timid on meeting new people but it doesn’t take much to get her to warm up. She could use someone who’s going to be patient with her when meeting new people. Once adopted Willow will travel via Rescue Vet pet transport to a location closest to you. (transport cost is $160.00) If you would like to make this adorable girl part of your family please follow the link below to our application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Story
Precious! The only way to describe this little fellow. You can imagine as a very young puppy there's jot a lot of history to share. We can tell you that he was born in our care, along with his siblings, and that his mom is a stunning black lab. We have named her Raven and she's very sweet. They have been separated from mom and are ready to find their new forever families. They are currently being fostered by Michele in Memphis, Tn. She has a has full of activity, comings and goings so the puppies are super well socialized and used to just about anything. Once an application has been submitted and approved, she would be happy to speak with you about him. Once adopted, he will travel via Rescue Vet Transport to his new forever family. They travel each weekend, leaving Memphis, Tennessee, Friday mornings around 6 AM and traveling as far north as west Greenwich, Rhode Island, making steps along the way delivering newly adopted pets. Transport is an additional $185. Once they get on the road, they start a group chat with the two drivers and everyone who has A Pet on board. If you would like to make this adorable ball of cuteness part of your family. Please follow the link below to our adoption application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Story
Crosby is a very energetic, person loving, happy dog! We had gotten him a few years ago with his older brothers who had passed away, and he does not get along with our new puppy or other dogs. He was mostly outside, as we live in the country with many cats. But that doesn’t stop him from loving going for walks, hiking, swimming and cuddling! He absolutely adores every human that comes his way, but he isn’t quite too friendly with other animals. If you are looking to have a loving companion just for you and your family, Crosby is just what you need! We have loved him so much, but it is hard having two dogs who do not get along so much. Please reach out if you are interested. We would love for him to be happy as an only child if possible!

Story
Meet Lacey! Hi I’m Lacey - a spunky senior lady with lots of love to give, and it's reported that I still have a good amount of energy (not too much, but I do love running in the back yard and as soon as the backdoor opens, I shoot out!). I also love going for walks and do well on the leash, but I’m also happy to snooze in my dog bed. At just 25 pounds (I know, I look bigger) I’m a respectful house guest! Also, there are no accidents here, and I sleep in my kennel at night, and it's so cozy, I don't make a peep, though I do get barky in the backyard. Gotta protect my territory, ya know? I live in a foster home with several other dogs of all sizes, and we all get along. I also live with a baby human and a little human and my foster parents. I love people, especially when they pet me. I’m so soft, how can you resist?? I have a little bit of arthritis, as us old dogs sometimes get, but it doesn’t bother me much. My eyesight also isn’t the greatest, but I get around, ok. I’m a pretty girl, and if you like floofs, I'm the gal for you! *Lacey is being fostered in Madison, WI. Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $300, ($550 for a pair). Story
Bartleby here! I’m guessed to be about 1 1/2 year old & a border collie mix, & I’ve topped out at about 55lbs. Mom says I’m a very good boy. I sleep quietly through the night, & my manners are impeccable. I get along with my doggy foster siblings - all various sizes & personalities. I don’t live with any cats, but I’ve had interactions with them & am very respectful. I’ll do best in a home with kids over 10 or younger ones who know to be patient with me as I’m a very shy boy until I warm up. Another confident, energetic, & similar-sized dog is mandatory for me - I always look to my foster siblings to tell me what to do in a new situation & they help me feel safe. My new family will need to be patient as I come out of my shell, but the reward is worth the wait. I’m the sweetest boy & love being near my people. I’m looking for a very special family who is willing to go at my pace instead of forcing me to go at theirs. I need a calm home where I can feel safe & continue building my confidence on my time.DATCP# 483538

Story
Layla is 36 lbs and 5-6 years old and also high energy! She loves to chase balls, but needs a few lessons on retrieving. She'll nose you to get you off the couch to play, and will bark at you until you pick up a ball and throw it. This girl is also a fan of belly rubs, which she will reward with kisses. She has a herding instinct, which has mellowed a bit in the past couple of months. She also will need a home without children, cats and small critters. She needs a bit of time to get to know new people and dogs, and we are working with our vet on this. Layla is spayed and fully vaccinated. She will need a fenced yard and an experienced handler with a strong understanding of the breed and a willingness to provide lots of exercise and tennis balls.
