Introducing London! She is a beautiful boxer/American bulldog mix (per dna test) who was out of time in the shelter. Her estimated dob is 3/1/24 and should be around 50 to 55lbs full grown. London is doing well.  She is a typical puppy who needs rules and boundaries. London needs proper introductions to strangers.  She is easily redirected to her toys and has been good about not chewing things in the house  She does like to dig a little and explore the yard.  She is doing great with the other pack members in the house and loves her visits to another foster to play with a group of youngsters!.  She is an exhuberant player. And London really likes the water! We are walking in the neighborhood daily.  She is also learning basic commands. She is now on to the Intermediate obedience class and is picking up the commands quickly.  London stays in a crate at night and when her foster mom is away from the house. Potty training has been conquered. And London uses a dog door.  Car rides are also going well.  Cats are unknown. This is Stahli - to know her is to absolutely love her! Stahli is a 3 year old boxer/boston terrier mix up for adoption in Minneapolis, Minnesota!! Not only is she stunningly pretty with a shiny black coat, she's also very smart. She loves performing tricks and pleasing her people when asked to do things. She craves adoration and accolades! Her favorite things are: snuggling, playing with dogs & toys and watching the neighborhood comings and goings. She has a goofy playfulness to her when combined with her adorable underbite, makes her simply irresistible! Gotta love a good snaggletooth! Stahli will thrive in a stable home without a lot of commotion and chaos. At this time, we are unsure if she would thrive in an apartment setting. She has a hard time processing new people entering her space which can overwhelm her at first. She needs to be allowed to approach people on her own terms. This applies at home and in crowded places. She enjoys going places & car rides, but needs you to advocate for her out in public if people rush up to her... otherwise, she'll vocalize her anxiety herself. She tends to recover quite quickly in public and recently enjoyed a fun evening out at a dog-friendly brewpub. To summarize Stahli: does she have a slight case of stranger danger, yes. But when Stahli loves you, she loves you with every fiber of her being and that will never waiver. She is a smart girl though and remembers people, so if she mistrusts someone, it can be hard to change her opinion. She is currently in a great foster home that is helping to build her confidence when meeting new people. Her new family will need to implement this new routine when visitors are coming over and coach new people through how to interact with her. Daisy Boo is a 3 year old little love bug that only weighs 45 lbs. She was found as a stray. In a heartbreaking turn of events, we were able to locate her original owner who could no longer afford to keep her. She is longing for a family again as she wants nothing more than to just hang out with you! Daisy Boo is a low-maintenance dog that would be perfect for apartment or home living and would be a great choice for a family with children. She is smart, super fun and loves her stuffies! She’s currently enrolled in training sessions to master leash walking in urban environments around other dogs. Her former owner said she played well with other dogs. Daisy Boo would LOVE to meet you! I am working hard to attain that weight through a low calorie diet because I have gained a few extra pounds as I have gotten healthy and comfortable in foster care. At the moment, I weigh 40 pounds.   WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? I have a wrinkly face, a cute underbite, and short, chubby legs. My coloring is fawn, and, in the sun, I glow like a beautiful star. I know how to sit and stay, and I will “go to apartment,” which is my fancy bedroom pen where I eat my meals and sleep. Oh, I am definitely not a fan of loud noises. I am slowly making friends with the vacuum cleaner and the blender—but those things still seem pretty suspicious, if you ask me. To help keep me from getting too scared when I’m alone, my foster mom makes sure I am relaxed and comfortable by turning on the television with soft music.   HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? I have hung out with some older kids (over 12 years old) and I did very well. That was fun! I do tend to get excited and jump up on people to get their attention, so it would probably be best if I am in a home with older kids only.   DO YOU LIKE CATS? I haven’t been around any cats, so I can’t say one way or the other. It is probably best that we stick to dog friends for me, thanks.   HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? I live with two other dogs in my foster home and we get along great. Introductions were taken slowly to set us up for a successful friendship, and I think that slow intros are key for me. It will help me to have time to get used to a new home, then gradually increasing exposure to any resident dogs in stages. I am playful and fun, and if we do this right, I will be an amazing friend for your dogs!   IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? I would be on the couch, lying comfortably right next to my human or, better yet, lying comfortably ON my human! I will fall asleep as the happiest little nugget in your arms!   HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? I am really great in my “apartment” when my humans leave the house! I settle quickly on my bed and calmly wait for them to return.   WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? I sleep comfortably in my cozy apartment. We have occasional slumber parties where we all pile into my foster parents’ bed, and I am such a good girl! I sleep through the night like an angel.   DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? I love walks! I get really excited to see my leash come out and then it is so much fun to get out and about in the neighborhood. I mentioned above that it’s all about me getting all the attention, right? Yeah, that’s the thing. I have a habit of nipping fingers and jumping up on people when I greet them. I am working on not doing this because I know I should be sitting quietly waiting for people to pet me. It’s hard because I love people so much and want to get their attention right away. I hope to learn how to control my excitement better. I will benefit from a forever home that will continue to work with me on my manners and training for good behaviors.   ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)? My foster parents make sure that I have access to the backyard on a regular schedule to help prevent accidents in the house. I’ve done great! I sleep through the night with no problem (yay, me!) and I will take myself outside if the door is open. But it is helpful to have a reminder to “go potty” because I sometimes get caught up in all the fun that is happening inside the house and forget to go out.   DO YOU LIKE WATER? I don’t like the hose at all. But I absolutely love a warm, soapy bath. I get all blissed out to the point that I actually fell asleep while bathing the other day!   WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? I love that my foster family makes me feel safe and loved. While I am learning good behaviors, they are so patient with my training. I feel very lucky to have a foster family that is helping me get used to a whole new, wonderful way of life. WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NORCAL BULLY BREED RESCUE? I was found roaming the streets of San Francisco. I was extremely skinny and was brought to SF Animal Care and Control. Luckily, I didn’t have to stay at that place very long before NorCal Bully Breed Rescue got me out of there and brought me to my foster home. While in foster care, I have gained weight, my coat is shiny, I give wet sloppy kisses, and I am a great companion dog now. It is time for me to find my forever family! WHAT IS YOUR NAME? Hi there, friend! I’m Charlie! ARE YOU A BOY OR A GIRL? I’m a boy! HOW OLD ARE YOU? I am around two years old as of September 2025. WHAT BREED ARE YOU? I’m a bully mix. HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? I am the most darling 40-pound house hippo! WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? I’m one handsome little devil, if I do say so myself. I’m a lowrider with a beautiful grey coat. My best features are my big smile and fabulous blocky head! WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? I'm not too picky, I love kibble and mini marshmallows the most, though. Yum! WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? I am a sweetheart. I love everyone I meet, dogs or humans! I just want to be invited to the party. I love cuddles and belly rubs, and playing with other dogs is the MOST fun thing ever! DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY: That’s an easy question, because I am easy to please! Human and dog companionship makes any day perfect. Let’s definitely include some naps in the sun and playtime with my toys! WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? I love chewing on my Bene Bone. DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? I know how to hop like a bunny when I am excited and how to use the furniture as my own personal obstacle course! Those count as tricks, right? WHAT SCARES YOU? I’m a pretty brave boy! HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? I am a sweet guy, but maybe I’d be best with older children because I like to nibble with my front teeth, like I’m eating corn on the cob, and maybe little kids would be scared of that. DO YOU LIKE CATS? They’re not as cool as dogs, but I’m fine sharing my space with them. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? I love dogs! We have so much fun playing together. Now that NorCal Bully Breed Rescue got me surgery to open my airway to help me breathe, I am feeling GREAT! WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION? I live with my foster mom and grandma, and an unspecified number of dogs (several fosters that come and go, I can’t keep track!) WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? I am the best boy in my crate. WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? I am sleep very well in my crate. It’s my safe space. DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? Can’t say I’m a huge fan of leash walking, actually. It’s still pretty new to me, so I might learn to enjoy it eventually. But early in my stay at my foster home, I’m not thrilled with the walks right now. DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? Not really. I don't even bark or cry! But I suppose if you’re going to make me label it, the “corn cob” nibbling I mentioned earlier could be called a not-so-great habit. But I’m not biting or even putting my mouth all the way around. It’s just little nibbles with my front teeth. ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)? I am kinda new to this potty outside concept, so I have some learning to do. I’m a very good boy and will learn with consistency, time, and patience. DO YOU LIKE WATER? I’m pretty thick and not really built for water sports. But maybe if you get me a life vest to keep me safe, we could explore the idea of a swim? WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? I love that I am safe and have friends and toys!
