Story
Hi there, I'm Shaq! I'm a ball of energy and love rolled into one. I'm always ready to play and explore. Fetch is my favorite game, but I'm always up for learning new tricks. I'm friendly with everyone I meet and I'm always eager to make new friends. When playtime is over, there's nothing I love more than a good cuddle. My heart is full of love and I'm just waiting for the right person to share it with.

Story
Hiya I'm blossom! I'm a fun loving girl who needs a forever home! I love to cuddle up next to my foster mom and my foster siblings. I am amazing with kids and other dogs! I'm doing pretty well with the newest kitten as well! Of course I am a puppy and still learning my way but I learn fast and treats always help! I'm not big fans of long walks but would like to run around outside with other dogs for a bit then come inside for water and a nap! I'm a pretty easy going gal and car rides are great too! If this is your perfect fit please apply today on the MACS Friends website!July 25, 2024, 5:25 pm

Story
My name is Ria! I'm the bestest girl. Do you like to go on walks? Do you like to cuddle and watch TV? Well I do! I am a friendly girl and love everyone! I’m very squishy, I love kids, dogs, and cats! I may be a bigger girl but don't let my size fool you, I am sweet as can be! I walk descent on the leash but prefer to have a yard and run my energy out with a friend! I'm so smart as well, my foster mom has been working on training with me and she says I'm so smart and funny. I’m a good companion for trips and travel. I’m a down for whatever dog! Any takers? Story
Hi my name is Reef, but I also respond to Beef or the noise of my treat jar opening 😊. I had an Embark test done which is shown on slide 3. He is adoptable through Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter! He is genuinely a silly little guy with moderate-high amounts of energy. Because of his breeds you can understand some of the behavior he has shown so far. We have made great progress with him on his mouthing, listening, and other behaviors associated with puppies and his breeds. He attends weekly training for these behaviors. He is EXCELLENT at sit, wait, lay down, go to bed, and many other commands. He cannot be around small animals or small children under 16. He does best with positive reinforcement and strict schedules. He lives with a patient 5 year old 70lb Staffy and plays in daycare at Pawtropolis East, so you can bring him to daycare once adopted! 706-795-2868Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet.Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet. Fees:Dogs over 6 months old: $100Puppies under 6 months: $200. Cats and Kittens are $75 ($65 without microchip). For your convenience you can fill out an adoption application for any of our current residents at www.moaspets.com. Join us on Facebook athttps://www.facebook.com/moaspets. It's a great way to stay up to the minute on the furry 4 legged friends we have looking for a loving forever home. We are located at:1888 Colbert Danielsville Rd Danielsville, GA 30633 706-795-2868NOTE: Our adoptions are first come first served, simply filling out an application does not mean the animal will be held for you, you must come meet the animal in person in order to be considered for adoption. If you rent you must bring your lease or a letter from your landlord stating you may adopt.

Story
Lulu came in as a stray at the beginning of June. We scanned her and she does have a microchip but her owners are not answering our calls or returning them. Poor Lulu does not understand why her family have not come to rescue her. However, she is being the bestest good girl! She loves everyone she meets and even gets along with other dogs! She is house trained and walks so well on a leash.
