It’s not Baby’s fault, but she deserves a better quality of life than this. Ivy is a 2-year-old, 56 lb spayed pit mix — big, dumb, and lovable. She'll park all 56 pounds of herself in your lap and call it snuggling. She's happy and playful, and needs someone who finds that funny.She's house-trained, good with kids, good on leash, easy in the car, and not food or toy aggressive. She loves chew toys. She's never shown aggression toward a person — no growling, no guarding, nothing. Even when pulled off mid-conflict with another dog, she never redirected onto the person intervening.She does need to be the only dog. She's gone after our other dog three times, after being startled by something else (a pressure washer in one instance, and a loud leaf blower in the other) and she redirected onto the nearest dog. Our dog was injured but never needed a vet.We took her in temporarily at about a year old and she's been with us since. She deserves a home of her own, and we're being upfront so her next placement sticks. Vaccines current. Happy to answer questions about her.
