Story
Letty is very smart and loves to be curious. She has lots of energy and likes to be busy.  She loves to play and her favorite toys are balls, rope, and any squeaker toy.  She loves to challenge herself each time on how fast she can get the squeaker out.  Her favorite treat is a kong with peanut butter in it.  She loves her outside play time and her cuddle time on the couch equally.  She is also very good alone in her kennel when you leave your house.  Letty is currently in a home with dogs, 2 cats, children above the age of 8 and chickens. Letty will clean and bath the cats until the cats let her know its enough.  Letty also goes to adoption events and does play with her sisters. She is starting to venture out to other events.  She does need medications for long car rides as she can get sick. Letty was 1 of 3 sisters surrendered to Pup and Cat at 4 months old. She is an almost 1 year old Belgian Malinois Mix. Being so young, she isn't always aware of her size and loves to climb on you for cuddles or kisses. She loves kids, to play and needs stimulation and someone who will continue to work and train her. She is the mama bear of the sisters and will do well with other dogs. She can be vocal which is good for potty.  Letty must have at least a 6 ft privacy fence.  We receive many emails per day with questions about our pups.  Please put in an application at www.pupandcatco.com if interested, it isn't a commitment on your end, but it does let us know if you are a match with our pups.  Thank you!!!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.We do not have a shelter facility and our pets are housed in foster homes, vet clinics and local boarding facilities. Story
Polly Pocket is a young, pretty easy going girl. She came from a terrible situation where she was dumped on the side of a busy highway, likely after just having puppies. No one could touch her for weeks and she was seen eating things that had been ran over. This poor girl was finally able to be caught by her foster, where she lured her for a few minutes with treats and food until finally gaining her trust. And she’s only come out of her shell more since. She would do well with an active family, but she’d also do well being a couch potato too. A mixture of both of these things would be ideal. She loves to sit on the couch for a good snuggle, or lay in her crate for a nap, but she would also love to get plenty of outside time every day. Long walks around the neighborhood or zoomies in the backyard with toys, she LOVES the sunshine and loves to play. Polly does well in her crate, as her foster says she’s never had an accident in it. She has a water bucket, a very big blanket and toys in it and is a very good girl when in it. She sleeps quietly in her crate every night. She goes in on command and knows “sit.” She is VERY treat motivated and would likely learn many new tricks with the help of some treats and a little patience. Polly walks well on the leash but sometimes pulls a little, but with more and more practice and leash walks, she’ll have it mastered soon. She is friendly with other dog friendly dogs. She is sometimes protective of her toys or food if she thinks that another dog might steal them from her. But she’s gotten MUCH better with this over the last few weeks. She plays well with dogs and toys outside, but for now she is fed separately away from the fosters dogs so she doesn’t feel like anyone is going to take her food from her while she’s trying to eat. (Because she likely had to look for, and protect her food for a while being outside on her own.) Polly loves human affection and is the sweetest girl EVER. She can’t wait to find her forever home!! We are unable to answer every email.  If you are interested in our pups, please fill out an application and we will contact you.  Thank you for your patience and understanding while we receive quite a few applications on our dogs and have to match each one carefully for their safety and what we feel will the best fit for the pup.   Visit our page at www.pupandcatco.com Please consider signing up for recurring donations on our website https://www.pupandcatco.com/donate/ Thank you  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.We do not have a shelter facility and our pets are housed in foster homes, vet clinics and local boarding facilities. Story
Application is required - Please go to www.ppnk.orgAdoption fee $200Honey was on her own for quite a bit.  She hung out in an area where people threw things at her, yelled at her and basically were as mean as possible to her when all she wanted was a gentle touch and some food. Fortunately, AC was able to trap her and she came into the care of PPNK. Honey was petrified of people so we had our work cut out for us. Very quickly, we found out that Honey is super sweet, smart, and willing to learn. She is learning to trust people and despite all of the horrible things she experienced, she is sweet as can be with not a single mean bone in her body. She melts when pet and craves attention. She has been learning to sit for pets and walk on a leash...both of which she is doing amazing at. Honey is afraid of other dogs but we have slowly been introducing her to friendly dogs. Honey is a young gal with a lot if love and fun to share. All our animals receive professional veterinary attention including spay/neuter, testing, vaccination, deworming, food and shelter.
