Story
We know bully breeds and boxer/pit mixes often get unfairly judged. We know black dogs are often overlooked in rescue. But anyone who has spent time with Harley knows the truth: Harley is not a stereotype. Harley is a sweetheart. She is almost 6-year-old Boxer/Pit mix who is basically a Golden Retriever in a Boxer/Pit body — happy, wiggly, affectionate, loyal, and always wanting to be near her humans. She follows you around, looks at you with those soft eyes, and just wants to be included in your day. Yes, she gets excited when she meets people. Yes, she might jump a little because she wants your attention. But Harley listens well, knows her basic commands, and is a proud PetSmart puppy training graduate. She is smart, eager to please, and a fast learner. She just needs someone to guide her and say, “This is what I want you to do.” Harley is a big love bug who loves: 🖤 Being close to her people 🖤 Lounging on a couch, dog bed, or human bed 🖤 Walks, playtime, and attention 🖤 Taking treats gently 🖤 Following you around like your happy little shadow We are asking someone to take a chance on Harley. Meet her. Spend a little time with her. Let her show you who she really is. Harley is a big love bug who’s happiest when she’s close to her people—lounging on a **couch, dog bed, or even a human bed** after a walk or play session. She’s affectionate, goofy in the best way, and brings joy wherever she goes. She takes treats **gently**, sometimes giving them a quick sniff before delicately taking them from your fingers. Because we truly believe the person who gives Harley a chance will either be so glad they did — or wonder why it took them so long to meet her. 📩 Interested in adopting (or fostering) Harley? Story
Chloe is a loving 7 year old boxer/lab mix looking for an adult only home. She is house and leash trained and healthy. While she enjoys running outside, she is low energy inside the house. She is friendly towards adults and comfortable with get togethers, but takes sometime to warm up to dogs. Once she is familiar with a dog they will be best friends. We are looking to rehome due to our new baby boy. While we dreamed of Chloe growing up with him, we realized we can’t give Chloe the attention she deserves. The lack of a backyard coupled with minimum time to take her on walks is unfair to her. We hope we can find her a loving home with someone that can dedicate more time to her.

Story
🐾 LOVING HOME NEEDED FOR DEBO 🐾 This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to make. After much thought and many tears, I have made the difficult decision to find a loving new home for my dog, Debo. This decision is not because of a lack of love quite the opposite. Debo is a great dog who deserves the time, attention, and lifestyle that I am no longer able to provide in this season of my life. Debo is loved, and I want to ensure he is placed with someone who will continue to love and care for him. I am committed to finding the right fit and will not place him just anywhere. I’m looking for a responsible individual or family who has the time, patience, and space to give him the life he deserves. If you or someone you know may be interested, please send me a private message so we can discuss whether it would be a good match. Please be kind. This has been a very emotional decision, and my only goal is to do what is best for Debo.

Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Meet Chop — a sweet, goofy boy with a big heart and an even bigger love for life. Chop entered Gwinnett Co shelter in early 2026 after his family was evicted and he was left behind in their former home. They never came to reclaim him, and he spent a few months at the shelter before entering our foster system. However, you would never know that anything bad had ever happened to his sweet, happy boy! Chop has proved to be very adaptable to new situations, and instantly befriends everyone he meets. He has a very gentle, friendly disposition and just wants to be where his people are.  Chop is around 3-5 years old, and while he was a bit underweight at the shelter, he quicky got up to his ideal weight of 56 pounds in foster care. He seems like a bit of a simpleton on account of his goofy smile, but he picked up on basic commands very quickly and has done great with his crate training. This happy guy gets along well with other dogs and has a gentle, easygoing temperament. He is a bit of a velcro dog, and loves affection. While he hasn’t spent much time with kids that we know of, he shows no signs of reactivity or resource guarding and has a naturally soft, submissive personality that suggests he would do well in a family home. However, Chop does seem overly interested in cats and other small animals so he should not live in a home with them -  he becomes very focused and will chase if they run.  Chop is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and on prevention. He is ready for a home where he can just be part of the action, continue to learn and finally settle into the love and stability he deserves.  Questions about Chop? ali@doggieharmony.org Interested adopters can apply here: www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption Once an online match is made, caretakers will arrange a preliminary home visit.June 9, 2026, 8:27 pm

Story
Due to an upcoming move and the sale of our home, we are looking for a loving forever family for this gentle boy. We've had the privilege of caring for Boo for several years and want nothing more than to see him in a safe, stable, and caring home.Boo is approximately 4 years old and weighs 65 lbs. He is a quiet, gentle soul who can be shy and skittish at first, but blossoms with patience and understanding. He loves lounging in the grass and simply being near the people he trusts. He is low-energy and easygoing — the perfect companion for a calm, peaceful household.Boo would thrive with a patient family who will give him the time and space he needs to feel secure. He doesn't ask for much — just consistency, gentleness, and a quiet place to call home.We are only able to place him with someone who is ready and able to care for him long-term. If you can offer Boo the forever home he deserves, we would love to hear from you.Love, Jen and Phil
