Story
Meet Dominick — a big-hearted, affectionate 2 year old Boxer/Bull dog mix who is struggling in the shelter simply because he loves people too much. He is losing weight due to the stressful over crowed shelter environment since he is being kenneled for a year now. Dominick is one of those dogs whose spirit quietly fades behind kennel walls. He is incredibly loving, people-oriented, and emotionally sensitive, and the shelter environment has been very hard on him. Dogs like Dominick—gentle, affectionate, and deeply bonded to humans—often suffer the most when they’re deprived of connection and routine. Dominick has energy and strength, so he will do best with a foster who enjoys daily walks, playtime, and possibly access to a fenced yard where he can run and decompress. Once his energy is burned, he is more than happy to cuddle, relax, and sleep by your side. He has a classic Boxer personality—curious, playful, intelligent, and full of joy for life. He is: Very affectionate and people-loving Smart and eager to learn Crate trained and housebroken Playful, athletic, and fun A wonderful companion for someone who enjoys an active dog with a soft heart What Dominick needs most right now is a foster home—a calm, loving place where he can finally exhale, feel safe, and show who he truly is outside the shelter. Fostering him will not only save his life, it will also help us learn more about him and match him with the perfect forever home. ✨ You don’t need to be perfect—just kind, patient, and willing to open your heart. ✨ All supplies and support will be provided by the rescue. If you can foster Dominick—even foster to adopt —you will be giving him the greatest gift: hope. 📩 Please message us at Rescuewithoutborders@gmail.com if you can help or would like more information. Fosters save lives. Dominick’s life depends on it.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Spade is a gorgeous Boxer Pittie mix who needs a new home without other dogs.  Spade is about 1.5 years old. He is a friendly, happy, wiggly-butt with people and plays with the other 3 dogs in his current home when outside.  He meets some new dogs on a leash very well, but can be reactive to others.  He is housebroken and good in the car, and loves his squeaky toys!  Spade is a big lap dog and LOVES to sleep under a blanket.  He is good with children, but because he can get excited when meeting would be best with bigger kids.  He loves to play in water outside! Spade can be left alone without being crated with no issues.  He has no experience with indoor cats.  Spade is neutered and UTD on all vaccines. Spade does have some anxiety which is being managed with Prozac. He will make a fun and great companion to a family with no other pets.  A fenced in yard would be appreciated.  Spade is available for foster or adoption, or foster-to-adopt.     * adoption fee: $450.00.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc  Pet care is not cheap or easy, and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.  After all that these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving committed home.    How to Adopt Me! If you are interested in learning more about me, and possibly making me part of your family, please go to  wag-on-inn.com . To apply, click  HERE  or on our website, go to Adoptable Pets and Adoption Application. A Wag On Inn volunteer will be in touch soon!
