Poor, sweet, handsome, Freddie was returned to Rescue Ridge through no fault of his own.  His owner is ill and cannot care for him. We need your help in finding Freddie a new, loving, forever home.   Will you help us to help him?  Freddie is a loving, affectionate, playful, now almost  6 yr. old, Staffordshire Terrier or Hound/ Boxer mix guy who was saved by Rescue Ridge from a local, New Jersey, overcrowded shelter last year (2/16). His family could not keep him and Rescue Ridge stepped up to save him. . Freddie is adult friendly, housebroken, too! He was then adopted through Rescue Ridge last year and was living the good life. Now, he needs our help again.  He loves to run, snuggle, play ball, and go for walks. Bambi came to us from the NYC shelter system. She was found in NYC as a stray with an old injury to her hind leg, it is weak and atrophied. Bambi went an orthopedic specialist who advised her rear leg should be amputated. Her surgery was completed and she recovered wonderfully. Dogs with 3 legs do just fine and can run just as fast as their 4 limbed friends.  Bambi is a friendly girl who wins over everyone who meets her! She is dog friendly and good with kids just no toddlers please as her playful exuberance is bound to knock them over. Bambi loves toys and loves to go for walks and car rides. She would be a great addition to most homes. Bambi is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She tested negative for heartworm. Mirabelle is hoping to come to NJ soon if we find a foster or adopter. We offer a foster-to-adopt trial for approved adopters. Mirabelle is a friendly, playful girl. We think she is a boxer mix based on the cute smooshy face! Mirabelle is dog friendly. She is an active girl who likes to play and LOVES to run around the yard. Charm was taken in by a nice family after being thrown out of a car. Poor Charm was shook up at first and had some bruising and a bit of a broken heart but she is doing well in her foster home. Senior boy Meatloaf is still looking for a foster or foster to adopt.  He is an 8 year old neutered male located in Marcus Hook, PA (zip code 19061). He is a very sweet boy but he is not getting along with the 3 year old intact male mastiff in the home, therefore he needs a dog free home. Meatloaf lives with children aged from 9-16 years old and gets along great with them. He weighs about 60lbs, he is housetrained, sleeps in his crate, is up to date on all shots. He is fine in a car and his owner says he’s a basic couch potato. He is good with getting a bath & grooming. He did see the vet recently for some irritation on his paws & received medication. Meatloaf is a very sweet boy who loves attention. Can you find room in your home & heart for him so we can put a smile on his sad face?
