Story
Johnny is a 6-month-old, 35-pound bundle of joy with a big heart and an equally big personality. This adorable young boy has only been with his foster for a short time, but he’s already making great progress with potty training and crate training. Johnny loves playing with toys and soaking up as much attention as possible. He enjoys romping around with other dogs, though his playful energy and puppy-like goofiness might be too much for older, less energetic dogs. Johnny would thrive in a home with younger, playful canine companions or as the only dog. He’s been around older children and done well, but due to his size and energy, a home without small kids would be ideal only because he may knock them over.Johnny is a smart pup who already knows how to sit and is eager to keep learning. He’s ready to find his forever family to cuddle with during the cold winter months and love him for a lifetime. Could Johnny be the perfect match for you? Story
Misty is an 8-month-old, 33-pound Boxer mix with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. Despite being deaf, Misty is a quick learner and would thrive in a home with another dog who can help guide and teach her. She has plenty of energy to burn, as expected from her young age. Misty absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys playing with them, although she can be a bit too playful with cats, chasing them in an attempt to play. She is learning basic commands like “sit” and how to go into her kennel when you point to it. Potty-trained but in need of regular breaks, Misty prefers not to be left outside alone—she’ll head back to the door quickly if you or another dog aren’t with her.Curious and sweet, Misty is just discovering the joy of toys and is eager to share her zest for life with her forever family. She hasn’t been around children yet but would likely do well with those who understand her playful nature, including her tendency to jump up when excited. Outgoing and affectionate, Misty adores meeting new people and is ready to give all her love to someone who will return it. If you’re looking for an energetic, loving companion who will melt your heart, Misty might be the perfect match! Bcaaofnj.orgInterested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! Story
Meet Cinna! Cinna is a 5-year-old, 53-pound sweetheart with the most adorable forehead wrinkles you’ve ever seen! She’s a little underweight and could stand to gain a couple of pounds. Cinna is great on a leash, doesn’t pull too much, and is fantastic in the car, making her the perfect companion for walks and road trips. She’s house and crate trained, so she’s already got her manners down. This smushy girl is wonderful with dogs of all sizes and has a sweet, social nature. She doesn't bother cats either. Found as a stray and brought to a shelter, Cinna hasn’t let her past dim her loving spirit. She adores attention, has the cutest sploot when she’s relaxing, and will melt your heart with her affectionate personality. She is more laid back and happy to relax around the house with you. She does show her entergetic side around other playful dogs. If you’re ready to welcome the sweetest snuggle buddy into your life, Cinna might be the one for you!
