Story
Petey is a gigantic goof who does not know he's almost 90 pounds! This handsome hunk is as silly as they come and has plenty of energy for any outdoor activity. But of course, Petey contains multitudes... at home, he's a total couch potato and loves the calm and quiet pace that only a home can provide. Petey loves to play fetch and willingly shares his toys during playtime! He takes treats very softly and enjoys belly rubs. Petey loves every adult he meets when he's out and about but needs to live in an adult-only home! According to Petey, cats make great toys... so for the sake of cats everywhere, we're putting a stop to that, too. To recap: Tons (90 pounds) of fun? CHECK Goof with no idea he's 90 pounds? CHECK Rude around kids? CHECK Kind of a jerk to cats? CHECK Not interested in sharing a home with other dogs? CHECK Missed the puppy school class titled "Sharing Is Caring"? CHECK Great couch warmer? Story
My name is Suzie I am a 3 year old Boxer mix that weighs 81 pounds. I was rescued from a cruelty case down in North Carolina. I had a chain embedded in my neck that lascerated me from ear to ear. Now that everything is all healed I am ready for a new beginning and a better life! I have no sensitivity or handling issues around my neck at all. All the trauma from my past hasn't changed me at all. I am still the sweetest, biggest mush you will ever meet. I take treats very gently, I have a great play style with other dogs and love playing with them! There is one thing I am not the best with and that's cats. Cats are a No-Go for me. If I sound like the girl for you and you want to give me the bestest life ever then fill out an application with Pets Alive in Middletown NY to schedule an appointment to come meet me! **Please Note** Our pet listings update automatically every 4 hours, so they are as current as possible. Story
Meet this incredible survivor! Found in Tipton County, this sweet boy was skin and bones, hairless, and overlooked by so many. We couldn’t leave him behind, and he’s come so far—from 17 to 36 lbs! With love, warmth, and plenty of food, his personality has blossomed. He adores other dogs, all people, his crate, and especially toys and sweaters. He’s house-trained, food-motivated, and ready for his forever home. Could it be with you? Once adopted he will travel via the Rescue Transport to his new family. They travel every weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the north east, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. If you would like to make this cutie part of your family please follow the link below to our adoption application. Our turnaround time is typically less than 24 hours so please be prepared before you submit your application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9
