We have a special boy to introduce to the families and couples out there wanting a truly special older pup that is totally trained and waiting to love you to pieces. True Blue Toby is a 10 month old Boxer mix puppy that was found as a stray and not in the best shape.  In fact he looked terrible and we felt so bad for this boy to have suffered for so many months.  Once he came to our care we got to work on clearing up hair loss and getting him healthy from those pesky intestinal worms and putting good weight on him.  Gosh Toby is the best boy with a wonderful personality that embraces everyone with love and the anticipation to become steadfast friends.  Shy at first, this boy has blossomed and is Mr. Outgoing in every way.  He just wants to hang out with his humans and love them with full gratitude for making him such a healthy boy.  Housebroken, crate trained and wonderful with other dogs and cats, he is the truly total package if you are looking for a medium sized dog.  He is going to be a 50 pound adult and what a handsome Boxer mix boy he is turning in to.   Email us at Critter Cavalry Rescue :   ccrnewengland@gmail.com   We know will be glad you considered this boy as your very own. Sweet Rosie girl was found as a stray. The woman who found her tried desperately to find her owner but to no avail. We believe she was dumped, as it is very common here in the south. The woman brought her here to the rescue and she is doing extremely well with all the dogs and puppies and even like the cats and the children who visit. We believe she is approximately 5 months. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and she is also crate trained. She is full of energy and would do very well with a house full of kids! She appears to be a Boxer/Hound mix of some sort, pretty much a Super Mutt! Wouldn't you love to add her to your family? Landry is one of those sadly and insane stories of a dog spending month after month at a small rural shelter and constantly facing the chance of being the next one euthanized.  The shelter workers were determined to not let that happen.  They fought and they finally won the threat of him never leaving when they found a foster lady to take Landry and keep him safe out of the shelter and helping him search for a home.  This boy was so upset at the shelter because it is not a good environment to live when you just want to play and run and of course there is no room to do that in a small kennel!  The shelter people KNEW that Landry was a dog they needed to help save.  Yes he is a Pitbull mix…but his heart is that of a Golden Retriever temperament. Landry has proven himself to be a great boy and just as friendly and loving with people as a Golden Retriever would be.  He is exceptional with kitties and EXCELLENT with other dogs! This boy just wants to have fun and help everyone around him to enjoy life together with him.  Landry is already neutered, HW-, has 4 rounds of vaccines currently and rabies all done!! He’s 100% ready for his forever home! He does great sleeping in a crate at night and loves snuggle and belly rub time!! Landry is 40ish pounds, and is truly NOT a big dog at all. He’s a short stocky boy that is estimated to be around 8 months. This is our sweet precious Lucy. Lucy had an owner but her owner used to turn her out every day to wander the streets. A friend of the rescue would pick her up when she saw her and bring her home. She feared that Lucy would get hit by a car so one day when she returned her home, she asked the owners if they would surrender her to a rescue. They agreed and Lucy arrived here happy as a clam. She's a big girl, not fat, just a big girl. She's a very gentle big girl, sleeps in my bed with all the little ones sleeping on top of her! She loves children and cats. She was heart worm positive when she arrived but we have cleared all of that up. Lucy maybe a little older at 8 years but she has the energy of a puppy. She loves to play all day with the rest of the shelter dogs. She is spayed, fully vaccinated and house broken. She needs her forever home, could that be you?
