Meet Marie..... What a gorgeous girl Marie was pulled out of a high kill shelter in Louisiana. We got a call from them and jumped in to pull several of the pups that could have been euthanized in the next few days for space. It's very sad what happens in some of these shelters. Marie is full of life, she is super playful, social and of course FUN.... Marie weighs around 15 pounds. We estimate her full growth weight to be around 50 - 60 pounds. Marie is a 14 week old spayed female Boxer Mix. When we pull pups out the shelter system, we do not know exact lineage. The pups are usually several breeds, but we can definitely see alot of boxer in her. Marie is being crate trained and doing well with outside potty training. Being fostered in Butler NJ This girl will make a great companion for an active person or active family... We have a special boy to introduce to the families and couples out there wanting a truly special older pup that is totally trained and waiting to love you to pieces. Sweet Rosie girl was found as a stray. The woman who found her tried desperately to find her owner but to no avail. We believe she was dumped, as it is very common here in the south. The woman brought her here to the rescue and she is doing extremely well with all the dogs and puppies and even like the cats and the children who visit. We believe she is approximately 5 months. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and she is also crate trained. She is full of energy and would do very well with a house full of kids! Whiskey was born July 15, 2023. He came into rescue at 8 weeks old when the owner couldn’t find him a home. His mother is boxer and father Black and Tan hound. (Pictures of parents attached.) Meet Taylor!!! This sweet girl is a 7 month old female pitbull mix who came to us from a local cruelty case. Taylor had a rough start in life. She was found with her siblings as a stray in Plainfield and sent off with animal control. Sadly Taylor was one of the dogs we rescued from the Mahwah Cruelty case. She has been through so much in her short 7 months on earth but you would never know it when you meet her. She us a happy, super sweet, extra cuddly nugget. She is a little scared of loud noises and new things, but we have slowly been exposing her to new experiences and the is gaining confidence everyday. Taylor loves to snuggle and is learning to play with toys. She is learning to walk on the leash and has been doing beautifully in foster care. She is potty and crate trained. She loves other dogs and to romp and play. She doesn't mind cats and would do fine with children. When Taylor came to us she was very underweight. She has been slowly gaining to reach a healthy weight and the doctors feel although she may always be on the smaller side, due to malnutrition, she is otherwise 100% healthy! I have to tell you guys, this dog is amazing. Whoever adopts her is going to be one incredibly lucky family.
