Meet Wilma!This "shrunken boxer" looking little mix came in a walking skeleton at under 20lbs:(. Testing ruled out other underlying causes other than starvation... good news for her recovery but horrific that someone let her get in that state. Those days are behind her now and she's a happy healthy weight, about 35lbs full grown and we think 8-10 years old but a strong and vibrant "young senior". She's been mostly a happy friendly girl and loves walks and playtime with her many friends at the shelter and has quickly become a staff and volunteer favorite. She can have her grumpy old lady moments at times, can get protective of her space and home as she settles in, doesn't like to be bothered when sleeping and needs a lower key household that will respect her bulldoggy attitude at times. They are no trouble at all. Just looking for a home where they can live out the rest of their years . They are heartworm negative and fully vetted, on prevention. We use a transport company that bring our babies to most northern states. Adoption fee includes transport and health certificates.
