Story
*Name: Brady *Age: 2 years old *Current Weight: 40 lbs *Adoption fee: $475 Hi, I'm Brady!! Am I you're perfect match? I am a playful, fun and energetic boy with lots of love to give. My story started rough but I got all the much needed medical and emotional support I needed to be my best so now I just need to find my best family.   I would love an active family for neighborhood walks or hiking. I haven't actually been on a hike but I am sure I'll love it. Looking for a lovebug, guess what, that is me, cuddling on the couch to binge watch our favorite Netflix drama is definitely in my top five. Now that I know what it means to sleep with my human, I hope my new human is okay with sharing your pillow.  I am a happy go lucky boy who loves my chew toys and even licks the vet when I go for my check ups. I live for meal times (definitely #1 on my list of favs) and love the occasional treat (if hourly means occasional to you that works for me too). If your hands don’t seem busy I might ask for some pets. If you have a canine friend for me to play with, that would be super cool, I would love a four-legged sibling. If all of this sounds good to you then fill out an application because I can’t wait to meet my new family.  I sure do hope they find me soon! Story
If you love outdoor adventures Wallace is the dog for you. This 2 year old Boxer/Hound sweetheart loves to be outside in any weather - hiking on the trails, running in the snow, splashing in the water - it's all good with him. He is successful on and off the leash and his recall is quite good and getting better. At 77 pounds Wallace is a big boy, but is as gentle and affectionate as could be. He enjoys playing with other dogs, and will do so every chance he gets. He is very intelligent with a strong desire to please his people, and most things don't take any time at all to learn for this smart doggie. He settles down easily and sleeps through the night on his bed, but would prefer to share yours if given the chance. After a pretty rough start Wallace has come into his own in a loving and supportive foster home, and is ready to continue his journey with an experienced owner to guide him. He can still be wary of strangers and loud noises, and boundaries are good for him and you. A large yard with room for him to explore and stretch his long legs would be ideal, and while he does play well with other dogs, it would be best if he were the only dog in the home. His size may be overwhelming for young children and he would probably do better in a family with kids over 15 who can understand and respect his energetic enthusiasm. Wallace's potential is endless, and this sensitive and kind hearted boy deserves a forever family who can appreciate how truly special he is. Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
It’s great to meet ya! My name is Brownie, and I am eagerly wagging my tail to introduce myself to you. I'm a 2 year old Boxer mix, and I weigh 34 pounds. Now, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm the epitome of sweetness and friendliness. I'll melt your heart with my gentle brown eyes and smiling face. My spirit and zest for life are larger than life itself. However, despite my friendly nature and wagging tail, I find myself in need of a forever home. I am fantastic with other dogs. So if you have another dog at home, I'm paw-sitive we'll become friends! Something else really important I wanted to mention is that I'm a mommy! That's right, I have two adorable puppies who are as cute as can be. They're my little bundles of joy, and we're each hoping to find our own loving family who will shower us with the care and attention we deserve. If you think you might be the perfect match for me, Brownie, please fill out an application! I'm patiently waiting for that special someone who will offer me a new chance at a happily ever after. I promise I'll be your constant companion, your loyal shadow, and your forever best friend. Story
Moon-Doggie stole all of our hearts the second she stepped foot off of the transport van, greeting everyone with her contagious smile and giving us all of her love and affection!! Over the last few weeks Moon has been an absolute joy to get to know! From long walks around the pastures to exploring the horse barn to learning basic tricks and commands, she enjoys it all! Moon is a frequent visitor at our local park with her friend Samson! The first time she stepped foot on the pavement, Moon led the way, exploring all the smells the park had to offer. Moon is in great health! She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. She would do best in a household where she has room to run around and go on regular walks/hikes. Ms. Moonie has a very excitable personality so we think she would do well in a home with children 13 years and up. Moon is also perfecting her manners so a home that will continue training would be excellent!
