Meet Quincy!Quincy is the total package: affectionate, playful, and always ready to make a new friend. This sweet girl greets people with a wiggly body, loves leaning in for pets, and is happiest when she`s spending time with her favourite humans. She walks fairly well on leash, knows how to sit for treats, and is highly motivated by food, toys, and attention.One of Quincy`s greatest loves is a good bouncy ball. She`ll happily carry one around in her mouth and invite everyone she meets to join in the fun. Because she can be reluctant to give up a prized ball, trading for a treat or another toy works best, and her future family can continue building her `drop it` skills.Quincy has met other dogs well at the shelter, showing friendly and respectful social skills, but she does seem to be choosy about which dogs she befriends. While she may be able to live with another dog, careful introductions and consideration of the other dog`s personality will be important. Due to her history and prey drive, Quincy would do best in a home without small dogs, cats, or other small animals. If you`re looking for a loving, playful companion who enjoys cuddles just as much as a game of fetch, Quincy may be the perfect match for you.

If you’re looking for a dog who will treat you like the greatest celebrity on Earth, allow us to introduce Tasha. Tasha is a three-year-old mixed breed sweetheart whose heart is much bigger than her confidence. New situations, hallways, and doorways can be pretty suspicious in her opinion. Is that hallway safe? Where does that door go? Why is that trash can suddenly over there? These are the important questions Tasha believes deserve careful consideration. Thankfully, while the world can be a little scary, people are absolutely her favorite thing. Tasha warms up quickly and once she decides you`re a friend, get ready for full-body wiggles, enthusiastic kisses, and a level of devotion usually reserved for loyal sidekicks in adventure movies. She firmly believes that pets, cuddles, and telling her she`s a good girl should be a full-time job. Tasha is looking for a patient family who can help her build confidence at her own pace and show her that new things aren`t quite as terrifying as she thinks they are. Because hallways are one of her biggest worries, she is not suited for apartment living and would do best in a home where she can avoid navigating shared corridors. She is also too fearful of other dogs to share her home with one and would prefer to soak up all the attention herself. Tasha has done okay with the cat in her foster home and can be easily redirected when she becomes interested in the cat, so a feline companion could be a good match for her with a proper introduction. While Tasha hasn`t been around children that we know of, her love of people makes us think she could do well with dog-savvy kids who understand that sometimes brave girls need a little extra patience and encouragement. Tasha is searching for someone who will help her face the world one baby step at a time, spoil her shamelessly with affection, and celebrate every little victory along the way. In return, she`ll provide endless wiggles, sweet kisses, and the unwavering love of a dog who thinks you`re the best thing she`s ever discovered. Tasha is an Overlooked pet, which means she has been here for an extended period of time (longer than most of her friends) waiting for her forever home. For this reason, her adoption fee is up to you ($30 admin fee still applies)!
