Story
Hello, peasants. Just kidding. Hi, I’m Tiara.Yes, my name is Tiara. No, I did not choose it. Yes, I will absolutely live up to it.I came in as a stray, which basically means I have an air of mystery. Where did I come from? What have I seen? Why do I look slightly concerned about everything for the first five minutes? We may never know.I’ll be honest — I can be a little shy at first. I like to take a moment to assess the vibes. Is this safe? Are you nice? Do you have snacks? But once I determine that you are, in fact, a kind human with treat potential, I warm up surprisingly fast. And then? Oh. You are mine. I love attention. I love pets. I love treats. If affection were a sport, I’d at least medal.Other dogs? I prefer the polite, “good evening, ma’am” type. If I’m going to have a canine roommate, they should be calm and respectful enough to give me space to warm up. No cannonball entrances into my personal bubble, please. I’m a princess, not a mosh pit enthusiast.Cats and kids are currently a mystery on my résumé. I’d likely do just fine with dog-savvy children who understand that I’m not a wind-up toy and might need a minute to feel comfy. Basically: be cool, and we’re cool.Leash walking? Let’s call it a work in progress. I haven’t perfected my royal strut just yet. Sometimes it’s more of a “wait, what’s that?!” shuffle. But I am very food motivated and eager to learn, so with some patience (and, again, snacks), I’ll be trotting like the dignified lady I am.What I’m really looking for is someone who appreciates a high energy, shy girl with a goofy side, someone who will let me come out of my shell and then enjoy the absolute sweetheart hiding inside.Adopt me, and together we shall rule the couch

Story
Hi. Um. Hello. It’s me. Cruz. Okay don’t panic. I know I’m a big guy. Like… very big. But inside? I’m approximately 73% marshmallow and 27% nervous spaghetti noodle. When you first meet me, I might look a little unsure. New places make my brain feel all scrambled, and sometimes my tail forgets how to wag properly. I might freeze. I might do a dramatic statue impression. I might look at you like you just asked me to solve algebra. I promise I’m not broken — I’m just processing. I’m a thoughtful gentleman. But then… something magical happens. I start to wiggle. Just a little at first. A cautious butt shimmy. A soft lean. And if you’re patient with me? Oh buddy. You unlock Full Cruz Mode™ — which includes giant cuddles, leaning my entire body weight into you (you’re welcome), and the kind of soulful eye contact that says, “Are we best friends now? I think we are.” I’m a sensitive old soul. Loud chaos and tiny humans zooming around aren’t really my thing. I prefer a calm home where I can relax without worrying about unpredictable energy. Teenagers or adults who understand that I just need a minute to settle in? That’s my vibe. With other dogs, I appreciate the calm, respectful type. I’m not here for frat party energy. I’m here for polite introductions and mutual sniff agreements. Now. We do need to talk about the leash. I’m a large lad. A sturdy unit. When I get excited on walks, I can forget that physics exists and pull like I’m training for the Iditarod. I don’t mean to — my legs just go “ADVENTURE!” So I’ll need someone strong, steady, and willing to help me remember my manners. I promise I’m worth the arm workout. The best part about me? Once I feel safe, I am an absolute cuddle monster. I will lean into you like I’m trying to merge souls. I will rest my giant head on you. I will follow you around just to make sure you’re still there. I don’t need constant excitement — I just need my person and a peaceful place to land. I may take a day or two to exhale in a new home. But when I do? You’ll see the goofy, loving, slightly awkward sweetheart I truly am. If you have patience, steady hands, and a soft spot for a big nervous boy who just wants to belong… I’m right here. Love (and gentle side-eye), Cruz
