Meet Rico!Rico was brought in to Animal Control with his brother, Sid, unfortunately. The owners could not properly care for the dogs any longer and now Rico and Sid are favorites here with all the staff.Rico is a very loving, friendly and energetic American Bulldog mix that loves human affection, loves treats and longs to be in his new home with you and your family. He currently weighs 80 pounds and is approximately 6 years old. Lots of love to give and lots of time to give it!Rico cannot go to a home with cats, however he plays AMAZINGLY well with both male and female dogs. If you have a dog already in your home, you will just need to bring them up here to meet Rico in person so they can have a play date and see if it`s meant to be.It is not required that you take Rico and Sid together, but if you have the room in your home, they do love each other just like real, blood brothers would. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $100

Whiskey was born July 15, 2023. He came into rescue at 8 weeks old when the owner couldn’t find him a home. His mother is boxer and father Black and Tan hound. (Pictures of parents attached.) He is a sweet playful pup that has done great with small and large dogs. He is crate trained and doing very well with his house training. He loves toys and sticks to chew on. He has had his shots, neutered and microchipped. Wouldn’t you love to add this baby to your family? We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport

This boy was surrendered with his siblings after being dumped in a yard. They are a sweet group of pups. Caine is the shyest but is still friendly. He likes to play and gets along with other dogs. He will need housetraining as he has never been in a house. He is working on learning some commands and how to walk on a leash. He has the sweetest face and a personality to match! He would love to finally find his forever home and we know its out there! He is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

This gal and her siblings were found dumped in a yard. Cali is very friendly and loves meeting people. She likes to play and just have a good time. She is learning how to sit and stay down but will need all the basic puppy training. She has never left the shelter so will need patience when learning house manners. She is a lot of fun and would love to go on adventures with an active family. She has not been around cats so, if needed, will need to learn how to act around them. Cali is just a fun gal looking for her forever home. She is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

This gal and her siblings were dumped in a yard and is looking for her new family! She is very sweet, has no problem greeting people. She is learning how to stay down and not jump and will be learning leash basics. She is curious and open to any adventure. She gets along with other dogs her size, we aren't sure about smaller dogs so she will need to learn those manners and how to be with cats. She is just wonderful and would be a fun addition to any family. She is ready to go!!! She is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.
