Story
“Hello! I’m Emery! I am a 3 year old spayed female Boxer. I grew up in a kennel, and came to Zoe’s House Rescue in June 2026. I am very sweet and low key. I love to lounge around the house in sunny spots and take long naps. I do like toys, but I can only have solid ones that are big enough I cannot swallow them. I can’t resist shredding soft toys, it’s so much fun! I also eat the stuffing, so foster mom said they’re off limits for me. I have had quite the learning curve as I’ve gotten used to living in a home. Everything was new and scary. The toaster popping, the microwave beeping, the radio, the tv - it was all brand new and overwhelming when I first arrived here. I have slowly gotten used to these things, but I still get startled sometimes. My foster mom has been working on helping me build my confidence. I am nervous around new people, but I always warm up eventually. I will never be the life of the party, but I know when I meet MY people, they will be my best friends for life! I love to curl up on the couch with my dog foster siblings and my foster mom. I am very passive and would be gentle with kids, but they may be noisy and scare me. I have not been around children much, so I think I would prefer to live with adults. The right kids might be my best friends, however! I love my crate, and I have never had a potty accident in the house. My foster mom says I am a very easy keeper compared to most dogs. I am very sensitive to discipline and respond well to praise and gentle voices. I want to do the right thing and all I need is to be called away from things I shouldn’t do. A gentle “No, Emery” and I will stop whatever I’m doing. I do walk well on a leash, but I am used to going potty in my foster home’s fenced yard. I take slow, leisurely walks. I am no endurance runner. Being away from home makes me nervous, so even though I don’t pull, it is important to keep a good hold on my leash in case I get startled. I will need to always be leashed outside, or have a fenced yard to keep me safe. Overall, I see myself living in a home with gentle, loving family who will keep me safe. I have a lot of love to give, and I just need someone to help me blossom!” Emery is being fostered in southern Lancaster county Pennsylvania. She is good with dogs and enjoys her foster siblings. She has not shown any interest in the cats in her foster home. To meet Emery, please fill out an adoption application at www.zoeshouserescue.com Interested families must be willing to come to her foster home to meet her and bring all members of the family along, including existing dogs.

Story
Pluto is the definition of resilience and pure joy. This incredibly handsome boy was given a second chance at life after we rescued him from a shelter down south, where he ended up after being hit by a car. Thanks to a dedicated veterinary team, Pluto’s leg was saved, though he now gracefully gets around on three strong legs, using his saved leg mostly for balance. But don’t let that fool you – Pluto doesn’t let anything slow him down! He’s full of life, love, and endless tail wags. His absolute favorite thing in the world? People! Pluto is a total cuddle bug who soaks up every bit of affection he can get. His happy, eager-to-please personality makes him an absolute joy to be around. Pluto is looking for a home where he can be your one and only pet. In return, he promises to fill your heart with love and your days with laughter. He’s house-trained, enjoys the company of adults and older children (ages 12+), and would thrive best with a physically fenced-in yard where he can explore safely. Pluto is being fostered in Pottstown (Montgomery County), Pennsylvania and is ready to join a furever family ♥ www.mostlymuttz.org https://facebook.com/mostlymuttz Senior Soulmates Program: We believe senior dogs and senior adopters make some of the very best matches. Through our Senior Soulmates Program, adopters age 65+ who welcome a senior dog (8 years or older) into their family receive a reduced adoption fee of $275 PA Kennel License: 10872 PO Box 406 Gilbertsville, PA 19525 #handsomehunk #mostlymuttzrescue #totallovebug #adoptable #incredibleboy ##397632##

Story
Frank is a handsome adult Boxer-Bulldog mix with a tail that never stops wagging! This happy-go-lucky guy is all about the good life – whether he’s tossing around his favorite toy, soaking up the sunshine, or getting belly rubs from his favorite humans. Frank is great with kids and other dogs, making him an awesome companion for a family or a home with existing pups. He’s not a fan of cats (he thinks they’re meant to be chased), so a feline-free home is best. If you’re looking for a playful, outdoor-loving dog with a big smile and even bigger heart, Frank’s your guy. He’s neutered, fully vetted, and ready to bring joy to your home. We’d love nothing more than to see Frank finally make his way north. But for that to happen, he needs a committed foster or even better, a foster-to-adopt home. As a foster, we’ll provide everything you need to care for him. Frank is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm disease. The condition is curable, not contagious, and he’s receiving the proper care. We’ll send the remainder of his heartworm medication with him to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted recovery. Story
Jazzy’s story almost ended too soon—she was on the brink of euthanasia at an overcrowded shelter when a foster stepped up to save her. At the last minute, that plan fell through, but thankfully our rescue was able to take her in. Since then, she’s been charming everyone she meets. This stunning Boxer mix is full of life, love, and personality. Playful and adventurous, Jazzy is the perfect companion for someone who enjoys long walks, hikes, or simply getting out and about. She’s both house-trained and crate-trained, making her a wonderful roommate—though she admits she can’t resist an unattended snack! Jazzy currently lives with children and absolutely adores them. She’s affectionate, gentle, and always ready for snuggles during quiet moments. While she enjoys their company, she thrives best in a calm environment and would do well with children ages 8 and up who understand her need for a little peace and balance. Her foster family has also partnered with a trainer to set her up for success in her forever home. Smart and food-motivated, Jazzy learns quickly and is eager to please. She’s a great traveler, too—settling happily into the car and enjoying new adventures. Although unfamiliar noises may startle her at times, she recovers quickly and continues exploring with confidence. The one thing Jazzy is clear about: she wants to be the only dog in her new home. She’s ready to soak up all the love, attention, and loyalty she has to give without sharing the spotlight. Jazzy is fostered in Pottstown (Montgomery County), Pennsylvania, and ready to meet her forever family. Jazzy is in our Meet Me Program: Dogs featured in our Meet Me Program are participating simply because their foster or a dedicated volunteer is willing and able to take part—this is not based on breed, personality, behavior, or how long a dog has been waiting for a home. Because Mostly Muttz Rescue does not have a physical shelter location, this program allows adopters to connect directly with the people who know each dog best. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, learn more about daily life with the dog, and even schedule an individual meet & greet at an approved location—either before applying or while your application is pending. To get started, email meet_me@mostlymuttz.org with your contact information, and the dog’s foster or volunteer will be in touch. www.mostlymuttz.org https://facebook.com/mostlymuttz PA Kennel License: 10872 PO Box 406 Gilbertsville, PA 19525 #mostlymuttzrescue #oneandonly #bestgirl #brindlebeauty #boxermix #adoptable ##2187880##

Story
Maggie is looking for a new adventure. Her owners are elderly and want her to be able to have a more active lifestyle. She’s a 5 1/2 year old Boxer mix. She loves people and is great with kids. She loves going for walks. She does well in the car and has made a few trips to and from Florida. She is fully house trained and loves her crate. She has been the only dog in the home but is fine with other dogs at the groomers. Cats are unknown. She would be a perfect family or companion dog.August 26, 2026, 9:58 pm
