Story
Hello, my name is: PeachDOB: 04/24/2021Sex/Breed: Spayed female Boxer/Staffie/Pittie Princess mixWeight: 45 lbsFriends: Adults, kidsTraits: Active, loyal, resilient, friendlyRescued From: Found strayPeach`s story is one of resilience and mama bear smarts. Her rescue began as a stray, roaming a peach tree orchard. Kind folks kept watch and when she showed up again looking very pregnant a plan was put into place to try to capture her and bring her to safety. It was winter, and frigid temperatures were forecasted. This street-smart mama eluded capture and ended up giving birth to her puppies in a crawl space under a church, choosing a far corner where heat billowed out of a vent. Temperatures were in the single digits, so the fact that Peach found such a warm spot undoubtedly saved her puppies’ lives. Mama was trapped safely, and her puppies were rescued from the crawl space. The little family was transferred to a foster home and Peach had the opportunity to dote on her puppies without worrying about survival. They were warm, fed, comfortable, and loved. Peach was a wonderful mama and was so grateful for the kindness she was shown by her rescuers and foster family. Now that her puppies are old enough to find homes of their own, mama is ready too! Peach has been a dream companion and doesn’t ask for much. She is an active girl who loves to play and run around outside. She’d love a big fenced in yard at her forever home and boy does she deserve anything she wants after surviving such hardships and keeping her little family alive. Peach is crate trained, seems house trained, and is overall pretty quiet and easy-going. Being with her people is her favorite thing, meeting new human friends with ease. If you are looking for an adventure buddy, Peach is your gal! As long as she is with you, she is happy! The devotion she shows for her people is unwavering. While she loves people, she’s been selective when it comes to other dogs. Given her history and having to fend for herself, we don’t blame her for being untrusting in this way. After everything she has endured, Peach deserves to be the center of her family’s attention as the only pet. Peach does get along with other dogs and likes to socialize with them, especially outdoors! We understand there aren’t many homes looking for a dog that prefers to be a solo companion, but that won’t stop us from searching far and wide for someone who will devote themselves to Peach just as she will to

Story
Hello, my name is: Felicia Approx. DOB: 7/28/2024Weight: ~50 lbsSex/Breed: Spayed female Boxer mixRescued from: Overcrowded shelterFelicia is a sweet, soulful boxer mix who seems to truly cherish the simple joys of being part of a home. She’s been great with everyone she’s met and gets along well with other dogs, but she’ll need a cat-free home. A fenced yard would be a bonus, because she loves to run around outside, but she’s just as happy being a full-time couch potato—especially if that means watching a movie with you, napping at the other end of the couch with her head on a pillow, or people-watching from the front window. Felicia adores her people and wants to be wherever they are. She appears to be house trained and crate trained, is learning her manners, and is wonderfully patient during bath time—staying nicely in the tub before erupting into joyful post-towel zoomies that make it feel like a game. She loves toys so much that she tries to “bury” them in her crate under the bedding, then proudly pulls them all out and arranges them around her bed. Watching Felicia delight in these little moments is incredibly heartwarming, and she’s ready to bring that love, innocence, and devotion into a forever home of her own.All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting? Story
Hello, my name is: KangaApprox. DOB: 08/31/2019Weight: 65.1 lbsSex/Breed: Spayed female BoxerRescued From: Breeding kennelKanga’s life before rescue was heartbreaking — used for breeding and discarded when she was no longer wanted. Now, she’s experiencing the world for the first time, and it’s all very new, a little scary, but full of hope. This beautiful brindle Boxer is incredibly sweet, even though she’s still learning to trust. She’s timid and nervous in the home and around people, but with patience and love, she’s slowly coming out of her shell. When she’s feeling brave, Kanga will offer soft, gentle kisses — a small but powerful sign of her growing trust.Kanga’s ideal home is calm and quiet, without a lot of foot traffic or noise. She needs a physically fenced yard for safety and continued training, and most importantly, she needs another dog to help show her the way. She takes comfort and cues from canine companions and blossoms more with a furry friend by her side. Now that she has a playful puppy in her foster home her silly side has emerged! Kanga quickly learned to play with toys and plays tag with him in the backyard. It`s been a joy to see her let her guard down! Her forever family will need to be patient and understanding, willing to give her time, space, and unconditional love as she learns what it means to be a cherished pet. Watching her blossom will be a slow but incredibly rewarding journey! If you believe in second chances and have a heart big enough for a gentle soul like Kanga, she just might be the missing piece of your pack. Story
Hello, my name is: SpiceDOB: 06/01/2022Sex/Breed: Spayed female Boxer mixWeight: 55 lbsRescued From: Found strayBeautiful Spice hasn’t had it easy, but boy is she resilient! She ended up at an overcrowded shelter with her seven puppies but was thankfully offered a safe exit. She was a great mama and is SO ready to find her very own family! Spice is full of energy when she plays, but she also knows how to settle down and entertain herself. Once she gets her zoomies out, she’s content to bask in the sun, and simply enjoy the moment. She’s an avid hiker and loves any kind of outdoor adventure, making her the perfect companion for someone with an active lifestyle. Spice adores people and, once she’s had her fun, she becomes a sweet, snuggly cuddle buddy. Training is going great, and she is food motivated and eager to please. She loves to roughhouse with her canine pals, so she’d do best with a dog that likes to play the same way or by herself as the center of her families’ attention. No cats for her, please. Spice is a total sweetie and SO pretty! Please help us find her the forever home she so desperately deserves! All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting? FOSTER NEEDED! Garrett - this big, young man is sweet and strong, around 2 years old. We think he has boxer, hound (long legs) and probably some pit in him but a dominate breed impacted his height. He is tall and strong. He is playful with other dogs, rough houses with dogs his own size but tones down his behavior with puppies. He is nuts about playing with his empty metal bowl and now a big white bucket. He also loves stuffed toys but destroys them along the way.  He is currently in a foster home for a rescue in Tennessee with several humans, lots of dogs and pups and cats.   If you can foster this gorgeous boy, please email   nicole.foreverhomerescue@gmail.com   for information regarding fostering.  Foster to adopt available and while the dog or pup is in foster- medical care is provided.  Click this link:   https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FHPA/Dog   He is neutered, heartworm -, on simparica trio,  crate trained. Story
💕Meet Faith 💕 Faith is a gorgeous 3-year-old Boxer weighing 57 pounds, who has spent her life in a puppy mill. Her days of breeding and motherhood are behind her, and now this sweet, gentle soul is ready for a new chapter in her life. Like many dogs rescued from puppy mills, Faith will thrive in a home with another resident dog who can help her gain confidence and learn the ropes of canine life. While she's doing great on a leash, she will need a secure, fenced yard to explore safely. If you’ve got a secure fenced yard, a friendly resident dog and a heart full of kindness, Faith would love to meet you! 🐶✨ 📍 Currently being fostered in Bechtelsville, PA
