Story
✨Meet Parissa! ✨ Parissa was originally brought into a shelter in Philadelphia after being found as a stray. Parissa tested positive for Parvo and therefore was in need of a rescue to provide them lifesaving medical care. We gladly stepped up, and gave her all the medical care she desperately needed thanks to our parvo program. Along with a lot of love and supportive care she now has fully recovered and is ready for a home of her own! Parissa is a boxer mix who is full of happiness for her second chance at life! Parissa is a young and happy puppy that will require a family up to the task of providing her the physical and mental exercise and training that all dogs require. Puppies require a family who can continue their basic training and socialization skills to grow into confident and happy adult dogs! All dogs require an adjustment period after adoption to decompress and acclimate to their new home, routine, housemates, and environment. Patience, consistency, and guidance are required to help them successfully transition and become a part of their new family! If you are interested in being considered for them please apply on our website at www.angelsretreat.org 💕🐾 Angel’s Retreat www.angelsretreat.org West Chester, PA PA Kennel License 17335

Story
Chloe is a 2 year old spayed female boxer mix who weighs 35 pounds but she is very thin. She was rescued as part of a cruelty case where she was being kept in unsanitary conditions and starved. Chloe is the sweetest girl with the cutest ears! She has tested well with other dogs, previously lived with several kids, walks well on a leash and loves going for car rides. Chloe needs a family willing to spoil her rotten after all she has been through in her short life. Story
Hello, my name is: PeachDOB: 04/24/2021Sex/Breed: Spayed female Boxer/Staffie/Pittie Princess mixWeight: 45 lbsFriends: Adults, kidsTraits: Active, loyal, resilient, friendlyRescued From: Found strayPeach`s story is one of resilience and mama bear smarts. Her rescue began as a stray, roaming a peach tree orchard. Kind folks kept watch and when she showed up again looking very pregnant a plan was put into place to try to capture her and bring her to safety. It was winter, and frigid temperatures were forecasted. This street-smart mama eluded capture and ended up giving birth to her puppies in a crawl space under a church, choosing a far corner where heat billowed out of a vent. Temperatures were in the single digits, so the fact that Peach found such a warm spot undoubtedly saved her puppies’ lives. Mama was trapped safely, and her puppies were rescued from the crawl space. The little family was transferred to a foster home and Peach had the opportunity to dote on her puppies without worrying about survival. They were warm, fed, comfortable, and loved. Peach was a wonderful mama and was so grateful for the kindness she was shown by her rescuers and foster family. Now that her puppies are old enough to find homes of their own, mama is ready too! Peach has been a dream companion and doesn’t ask for much. She is an active girl who loves to play and run around outside. She’d love a big fenced in yard at her forever home and boy does she deserve anything she wants after surviving such hardships and keeping her little family alive. Peach is crate trained, seems house trained, and is overall pretty quiet and easy-going. Being with her people is her favorite thing, meeting new human friends with ease. If you are looking for an adventure buddy, Peach is your gal! As long as she is with you, she is happy! The devotion she shows for her people is unwavering. While she loves people, she’s been selective when it comes to other dogs. Given her history and having to fend for herself, we don’t blame her for being untrusting in this way. After everything she has endured, Peach deserves to be the center of her family’s attention as the only pet. Peach does get along with other dogs and likes to socialize with them, especially outdoors! We understand there aren’t many homes looking for a dog that prefers to be a solo companion, but that won’t stop us from searching far and wide for someone who will devote themselves to Peach just as she will to

Story
Hello, my name is: KangaApprox. DOB: 08/31/2019Weight: 65.1 lbsSex/Breed: Spayed female BoxerRescued From: Breeding kennelKanga’s life before rescue was heartbreaking — used for breeding and discarded when she was no longer wanted. Now, she’s experiencing the world for the first time, and it’s all very new, a little scary, but full of hope. This beautiful brindle Boxer is incredibly sweet, even though she’s still learning to trust. She’s timid and nervous in the home and around people, but with patience and love, she’s slowly coming out of her shell. When she’s feeling brave, Kanga will offer soft, gentle kisses — a small but powerful sign of her growing trust.Kanga’s ideal home is calm and quiet, without a lot of foot traffic or noise. She needs a physically fenced yard for safety and continued training, and most importantly, she needs another dog to help show her the way. She takes comfort and cues from canine companions and blossoms more with a furry friend by her side. Now that she has a playful puppy in her foster home her silly side has emerged! Kanga quickly learned to play with toys and plays tag with him in the backyard. It`s been a joy to see her let her guard down! Her forever family will need to be patient and understanding, willing to give her time, space, and unconditional love as she learns what it means to be a cherished pet. Watching her blossom will be a slow but incredibly rewarding journey! If you believe in second chances and have a heart big enough for a gentle soul like Kanga, she just might be the missing piece of your pack. Story
Hello, my name is: HoneyApprox. DOB: 05/21/2025Weight: 44 lbsSex/Breed: Spayed female Boxer/Pittie mixRescued From: Found strayMeet Honey — a girl who’s every bit as sweet as her name! This chill, lovable girl adores her people and wants nothing more than to be by your side. She’s house trained, doing great with crate training, walks nicely on leash, and rides well in the car, making her a perfect companion.Honey gets along well with other dogs and especially enjoys playing with the boys, though she would also be happy as the only pup in the home. Like many young dogs, she loves to chew, so having plenty of toys and a family who can keep her engaged will help her thrive.Honey’s ideal home is with someone who is around often and ready for a loyal shadow with a wiggly, happy personality! A fenced yard would be a bonus, but not a requirement. Honey’s story started with hardship — she was found as an underweight, flea-infested stray after wandering into someone’s yard — but she’s left those days behind and is now ready for the loving forever home she deserves. Please help us find Honey the forever family she’s been searching for! All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting? Story
Eazy is 2 years old and I got him from a breeder as a 2 month old puppy. He loves to cuddle and be loved on but doesn’t get along with cats or dogs. He deserves a loving home with no animals being he’s been spoiled with being an only dog at home. I’m expecting a baby and relocating and unfortunately I can’t bring him with me.
