Loki is a 6 year old shelter rescue puppy. He has been with us for all 6 years. He has a big personality and is full of energy. We are looking for him to go to a home that has a yard and with an active family. He does great with kids and does ok with dogs once he meets them. He loves to play and run around. He is a wonderful snuggle buddy and loves a good belly rub.

Story
Sweet, gentle, and full of love—Porsche is the kind of dog who steals your heart without even trying. After raising eight puppies like a champ, this amazing momma is finally ready for a life where she gets to be the one cared for and adored. Porsche has also overcome heartworms with incredible resilience. She’s truly one of the nicest dogs you’ll ever meet—calm, affectionate, and endlessly sweet, with a little quirky charm that makes her extra special (and super cute!). Porsche loves to lay in the sun, soak up the day, and then follow her people around with quiet curiosity. She’s a quick learner too—she picked up “sit” in no time, comes when called, and is doing really well learning to walk on a leash (she may pull a little, but she’s improving every day)! Porsche would make a wonderful family dog and is ready to bring love, warmth, and gentle companionship into a home that will give her the life she deserves. --- To apply to adopt, please follow the steps for adoption on HalfwayThereRescue.com/Adoption-Process and apply directly here: https://fs26.formsite.com/htrnp/a2k3lsooud/index.html

Story
Meet Bernie, the sweetest little gentleman looking for his forever family. Bernie is a 6-year-old mixed breed weighing about 45 pounds, and he has the perfect mix of playful energy and laid-back charm. He’s just as happy going for a walk or playing fetch as he is curling up for a nap and a cuddle. Bernie is great with other dogs and sweet with people of all ages, including children. He would do best in a home without cats. He’s crate trained, potty trained, and a very quick learner. He settled into his foster home routine fast and has been such an easy house guest. He also just started participating in our Bark and Heal program, where his gentle, loving personality is already shining. Bernie is the kind of dog who makes people feel safe, loved, and lucky to know him. This sweet man is ready for a family of his own, one that will love his cuddles, cheer him on during fetch, and give him the forever home he deserves.

Story
Contact foster at ksblanks34@gmail.com- Has an old injury on his front let- He is a happy-go-lucky boy- Super sweet + treat motivated- Has puppy energy and would benefit from continued practive of basic obedience training and consistency- Loves toys, belly rubs + snuggling on the sofa- Sillest boy who jumped right inside the toy bin and had the time of his life- Happiest by your side, staying close and following you around- Learning `sit` and `lay down` which he does very well when there are no distractions and is getting better during outings. Tommy gets anxious or overexcited in new environments, but he responds very well to the “chill” command when it’s given in a soothing voice. He does experience some separation anxiety, though he typically settles within 10–20 minutes depending on the day. Guiding him to “chill” through the camera microphone has also been helpful. He is alert and can be reactive to noises and people around the apartment building. His reactivity can include a stiff body, low growl, barking, or lunging—especially when first stepping outside (he improves the farther he gets from the door), at drive-thru workers, or when another dog growls at him during introductions. His foster reports that this reactivity toward strangers, other dogs, and loud bangs in and around the home is getting a lot better. During outings, he continues to do very well. He has made great friends with a few neighbors and has had positive interactions with other dogs, enjoying running around and taking turns playing chase. He wants to play with any dog who will have him. While he has experienced dog parks, they are not the best option for him right now. On a recent trip to PetSmart for socialization, he was initially overexcited but settled in and became curious and interested in everything around him. He has improved with his leash-biting tendency by working on “no mouth” and learning more appropriate ways to play. He is very treat-motivated, which is helping his training tremendously. Tommy will benefit from continued work with a trainer regarding his reactivity, but he is making meaningful progress and showing great potential.

A happy boy who loves everyone he meets and snuggling up on the couch with his person. He already knows “sit,” seems to be potty-trained, and walks beautifully on leash, frequently checking in.Che is very treat-motivated, which makes training a breeze. He’s dog-friendly, though slow intros are always recommended to ensure smooth introductions with new canine friends. He’s great in the car, calm and patient, ready for road trips or short errands with his favorite human by his side. His loving demeanor and upbeat spirit make him the perfect companion. Story
Lilah is a very lively and sweet girl with tons of energy. I adopted her from a shelter when she was 3 months (now 19 months). She is very smart, loyal and strong. The most athletic dog I've ever been around, she loves to play tug-of-war, fetch, frisbee etc.She needs a parent who is able to provide lots of time, energy and room to run. She would likely do well with similar size or larger dogs that can help her find her place in the pack.Current on shots/Nexgard. 85% Pit/Doberman, 60-65 lbs, spayed, full DNA report. Thank you!
