Story
Sally is a beautiful 8-year-old calico with striking green eyes and the softest fur. She's spayed, up to date on vaccines and vet visits, and must be indoor-only. Sally thrives on attention — she "talks" to you with sweet meows when you pet her, hops up on your lap, and gives the best head bumps. She loves ear scratches and will even let you rub her belly once she's comfortable. She's the kind of cat who wants to be *your* cat.Sally needs to be the only cat in her new home, as she's not a fan of other cats. She would be fine with a cat-neutral dog. She will be happy and relaxed in a peaceful home with space of her own.Sally isn't being re-homed because of anything she's done wrong — she just needs a home of her own where she can get all the love and attention to herself. If you want a devoted, cuddly companion who will make you feel like the center of her world, Sally would love to meet you.

Story
Hope is a sweet 3-month-old kitten who was born in our home and has been surrounded by people and other cats since day one. She is healthy, fully vaccinated, litter-trained, and used to both people and other pets. Hope is very playful, curious, affectionate, and full of personality. She loves exploring, playing with her siblings, and then curling up for a nap after all the excitement. She is comfortable in a home environment and already has good litter box habits. We are looking for a loving, responsible forever home where she will be treated as part of the family. We would especially love a home where she has plenty of attention, playtime, and ideally another friendly cat or kitten to keep her company. ❤️

Hello My mother passed on some years ago and told me to take care of her cat, Kiwi which I have done to the best of my ability. Unfortunately, I have to move internationally and can no longer take care of her. She is a gentle cat but raised alone and kind of shy. She follows me through the house most days. Thnk you for considering adopting her! Ron

Story
Callie Katt the beautiful girl is calling...will you answer? Looking for a cat with both beauty and heart? Then it's time to answer the call...the Callie Cat call! ❤️ Callie is timid at first, but LOVES to be petted and seeks out attention. She LOVES the other cats at the rescue, BTW.  VERY playful! Right now she lives with a best friend mostly BLIND black and white young cat and they get along great! SO sweet and play! Meet Callie, a stunning 8-month-old long-haired calico with a soft coat, soulful eyes, and a gentle spirit. Callie has already done one of the most important jobs a cat can do: she lovingly raised her kittens, and now that all of her babies have found homes, it's finally Callie's turn to be someone's baby. Callie has had a hard time, born outside, had kittens of her own!  SOMEHOW someone dumped her and her three kittens at the CHECKERS fast food restaurant!! She was terrified, finally caught by kind people, had the kittens, was vetted and now she us she is coming around fast. She was sick with an injured eye and URI, but she is all well now. She is shy when meeting new people, but don't let that fool you. That last only a moment. Underneath that initial uncertainty is a sweet, affectionate young cat who clearly enjoys being around people and wants to trust. With a little patience, love, and attention, she will blossom into an amazing companion. EASY to keep! About Callie: 8 months old - Stunning!! Beautiful long-haired calico Small now and probably will be a small cat Former young mama whose kittens have all been adopted Sweet and gentle personality/playful and initiates play with the others!! A bit shy at first, but warms up with love and patience Enjoys being around people Ready for a home of her very own Poor Callie has spent her young life taking care of others. Now she's hoping someone will choose to take care of her. Will you answer Callie's call? YOU will end up loving her, NOT demanding, quiet, sweet!! If you'd like to meet this lovely girl and give her the forever home she deserves, please contact: Email: AWHAR09@gmail.com Text/Call: 404-520-1060 Website: www.awhar.org As always, adoptions are on a trial basis to ensure the perfect match for both you and Cally. ❤️Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 15, 2026, 2:42 pm

Meet DINAH - Stunning Calico, Picture Perfect, Super Sweet! SWEET EASY DINAH needs a FOSTER OR REAL HOME ASAP! AWHAR GUARANTEES HEALTH. LOOKING FOR A RELAXING HOME.  NEEDS: Content to look out the window, enjoy her food, and get petted, play. NOT demanding at all or omnipresent for those who like a bit of an independent cat.  She is a delight! BOLD girl with other cats, so happy to be the ONLY cat as long as a wonderful person come with it!!! :) Key Traits:  Sweet, Friendly, Lap Sitter, SO EASY to KEEP, SO grateful to be inside!! Feminine LOVELY sweet cat - Perfect!  So EASY to keep - GRATEFUL to be inside and to recline and rest in her cat tree, watching the birds and squirrels. Great Pet ...originally abandoned by an owner as a kitten at a crummy apartment complex three years ago! Then Dodging cars to get to food, begging to get inside apartments, being attacked by other cats. She made friends with the ladies feeding feral cats in the area.  SHE stole their hearts with her big personality.  She is quiet, good in the litterbox and SO grateful. She will make a PERFECT pet! Not demanding at all.  BUT big purr and loves to be petted! Lifestyle: Very sweet and delicate - a perfect companion, very friendly, good in litter box, compliant with all your request, SO SWEET, will search you out for petting. She is a delight. About Dinah: She came from a horrible College Park Apartment Complex.  She was abandoned by an original owner who apparently moved. Dinah showed up at the door of a local community cat feeder who lives there one cold December evening—sweet, friendly, and clearly looking for help! With her striking calico coat and soulful green eyes, she’s one of the Prettiest Cats, but it’s her gentle nature and deep affection for people that truly make her shine. She was recently (late July) found limping, and based on a vet visit she had a hair line fracture of her pelvis!  That was it!  We took her off the street and into our program! She is now fully healed and ready for her final home!! So sweet, so calm and just rested until healed.  She is a delight!   She is FIV positive as we just found out.  But she is healthy and will remain healthy if kept in side with reasonable care and food.  NOTE: For this sweet cat, the Rescue will GUARANTEE her health for anyone adopting indefinitely, we will pay any vet bills (don't expect much), and will also have her teeth cleaned when recommended! Her teeth are pearly white and clean! LOL  Ideal Home: A calm household - no pets needed, just a wonderful human.  She has seen it ALL, had to FIGHT for food, so just wants a wonderful place to rest, your bed, or a cat tree, some fun, and a great human companion! Humans who appreciate a sweet loving cat. A safe space to rest and thrive She urgently needs a foster or forever home where she can be loved like she deserves.  Trial Adopt or FOSTER Dinah Today - Always a trial basis and we take our cats back now or in the future.  Call/Text: 404-520-1060  Location: A Welcome Home Animal Rescue Email: awhar09@gmail.com Visit: www.awhar.org Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 15, 2026, 2:42 pm

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet this beautiful tuxedo girl - full of personality, playfulness, and love. She absolutely loves human company and will happily curl up in your lap, purring away while enjoying quiet time with her people. She’s also very playful and loves toys, games, and romping around with other kitties. Like many young rescue cats, she is still learning that hands always mean safety and kindness. When she becomes overstimulated or startled, she may occasionally swat as she continues building trust. With patience, gentle handling, and a calm environment, she has already shown how affectionate and connected she wants to be. She would thrive either as the center of attention in a loving home or with a playful sibling who can help burn off her kitten energy. She’s a sweet girl with a big heart who simply needs someone willing to let her blossom at her own pace.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Olive Oil (“Olive”) was found living outside at a gas station with her two sisters and father. To her finder’s surprise, even as a young kitten, Olive had already decided, or so she thought, that people were absolutely not to be trusted. Over the past six months, she’s made an incredible transformation, going from hiding for weeks and refusing all touch to accepting pets, being picked up, and learning that life indoors isn’t so bad after all. Olive may always have a little bit of her feral spirit, but that’s part of what makes her special. She’s an easygoing, independent companion who loves the company of other cats and is just as content quietly sharing a room with you as she is exploring on her own. She’s come farther than anyone ever imagined and is ready to keep proving everyone wrong.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Born on Easter Sunday as part of a bustling litter of six, Miss Peep is just as sweet, bright, and delightful as her holiday namesake. But don't let the cute name fool you—this little lady isn't a delicate marshmallow. She is a brave, goofy explorer who is 100% ready to take on the big wide world! If you’ve been looking for a tiny assistant to oversee your daily routine, Miss Peep is officially applying for the job. She suffers from a severe case of FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) and must be involved in absolutely everything her humans are doing. Litterbox Duty? If her foster mom is scooping, Peep is right inside the box making sure the job is done up to her high standards. Meal Prep? The second the food bowls come out, Peep is actively scaling the side of the food bin like an Olympic climber. Welcome Committee? She is consistently the very first one at the door to greet you with love, purrs, and enthusiasm when you come home. Because Miss Peep grew up in a big, lively family of six kittens, she has never known a life without playmates. She thrives on feline companionship and constant activity. Miss Peep would love to be adopted with one of her littermates, or go to a home that already has a friendly, high-energy resident cat. Adopting a pair of kittens means they keep each other entertained, teach each other manners, and double the amount of fun in your home!
