I adopted Candie and Cookie during a very difficult time in my life after my grandsons moved to another state. I had been raising them and they were my life. I was heartbroken and lonely, and I felt that adopting a pet would help. I was unemployed at the time in a two-bedroom apartment. So, I adopted two kittens (sisters) so they would have company when I went back to work. The expense has been draining. I have a bad back and cannot move the litter around and I have to move to a smaller apartment in order to survive. They are about 1 year old and very sweet and affectionate. However, a small apartment is no place for them. I feel very guilty having to rehome them, but I must. They are litter trained and very smart. They do not claw at furniture or spray. They are very friendly and loving

Paola is litter box trained- but never been in a house before- so please teach her with patience to not be in places you do not want her to be! NOTE: We are convinced that Paola was a mouser or a barn cat in one of her former nine lives. That is not to say that after getting tuckered out she'd like to be held. She likes to be picked up gently and cradled like a baby to get tummy rubs. This tuxedo baby is fearless- and she will always call your bluff. If you do indeed get to grace Ms. Paola with your presence - it will be you and her against the world!
