Story
Willow is a sweet, loyal girl who loves her person deeply. She loves naps, chasing strings and snacks. I have had her for about 5 years, since she was a kitten. She bonds strongly with her person. I am needing to re-home her to a loving home as I will be relocating and cannot bring her with me.

Story
I adopted my cats about 4 years ago. They are a little of four years old. I would like for Gracie & Penny to stay together to make this move easier on them. They are both declawed front paws only. They are very good cats.

Story
I adopted Candie and Cookie during a very difficult time in my life after my grandsons moved to another state. I had been raising them and they were my life. I was heartbroken and lonely, and I felt that adopting a pet would help. I was unemployed at the time in a two-bedroom apartment. So, I adopted two kittens (sisters) so they would have company when I went back to work. The expense has been draining. I have a bad back and cannot move the litter around and I have to move to a smaller apartment in order to survive. They are about 1 year old and very sweet and affectionate. However, a small apartment is no place for them. I feel very guilty having to rehome them, but I must. They are litter trained and very smart. They do not claw at furniture or spray. They are very friendly and loving

Story
Meet Violet, a 6-year-old Calico heart stealer with enough charm to fill nine lives. She’s a people person through and through if you want a furry friend who actually enjoys hanging out, Violet’s your girl. She’s the reigning queen of playdates, great with kids, other cats, and even dogs who know how to mind their manners.Violet’s got the sweet and chill thing down to an art she’s the kind of kitty who’s more likely to nap through a vet visit than put up a fuss. She is carrying a little extra fluff thanks to some rough patches in her past, so she’s hoping her new family can help her get back to her runway weight. Give her a little love (and maybe a few fewer snacks), and she’ll reward you with endless purrs and head bumps. All cats/kittens are spay/neutered, fully vaccinated, treated for any parasites, tested for Feline Leukemia and FiV and receive a microchip with a lifetime of free registration. www.missionforpaws.org/application

Story
Dolly is a little survivor with the sweetest heart. Dolly has spent her life learning how to survive outside, but despite everything, she has remained incredibly loving, gentle, and trusting. She’s the kind of cat that melts into your touch once she knows she’s safe. Beneath her cautious little demeanor is a soul that just wants love, comfort, and a place to finally belong. She’s been an amazing mama to her babies and is deeply nurturing and affectionate. Dolly loves being close to people, soaking up pets, cuddles, and quiet companionship. She also has a playful, curious side that starts to shine once she feels comfortable. One of the most special things about Dolly is how loving she is not only with people, but with other animals too. She adores her kittens, has bonds with the other cats around her, and even does well with dogs. She has such a gentle heart.Dolly would do best with someone patient and kind... someone who understands that trust is precious and worth earning. Once she feels safe, she gives her whole heart. After surviving life outside and raising babies of her own, Dolly deserves a forever home filled with warmth, safety, soft blankets, and unconditional love. She’s not just looking for a home...she’s looking for someone to finally choose her forever. All cats/kittens are spay/neutered, fully vaccinated, treated for any parasites, tested for Feline Leukemia and FiV and receive a microchip with a lifetime of free registration. www.missionforpaws.org/application

Good with cats,
Story
Cecily was quite spicy when she first arrived. She warmed up slowly when we added a plushie to her bed for her to curl up next too along with gentle pats. Cecily just needs a place to be herself - to come into her own and be confident enough to be a cat. She is learning day by day to relax, and slowly recognizing what "toys" are. Cecily no longer has to fight for her place in the world- she is also learning just how special she is - and when she looks into your eyes- Cecily lets you know just how special you are to her. She is shy - but not aggressive, Cecily just wants to know she is safe :). She also has a curious purr that sounds melodic - as if her throat is an instrument :). Note: Cecily is a champ at using her litter box- however we don't think she has ever been housed before but she is not apt to jump to high places as she is too shy right now to do so. :) Hello there the adoption fee is $20.00 CASH OR CHECK it is low as we do not spay/neuter our animals or vaccinate as we do not have a vet on site. Upon adoption you would sign a legal contract stating that within sixty days you will get them sterilized and vaccinated per state requirement. Sometimes due to age or complications the 60 day window can be extended however only by a vets discretion. Your contract is not fulfilled and your adoption of the pet cannot be successfully closed until proof of sterilization and vaccination is provided to us from the adopter. You may come to the shelter any day of the week between 8 am and 4:30 pm, just please give us a call beforehand to let us know you are coming at 281 291 5644. Thank you!

Story
Paola is the feistiest of her siblings. It turns out that that she is not a fan of dogs - and other kitties will need a slow introduction. :) P.S. Paola is litter box trained- but never been in a house before- so please teach her with patience to not be in places you do not want her to be! NOTE: We are convinced that Paola was a mouser or a barn cat in one of her former nine lives. That is not to say that after getting tuckered out she'd like to be held. She likes to be picked up gently and cradled like a baby to get tummy rubs. This tuxedo baby is fearless- and she will always call your bluff. If you do indeed get to grace Ms. Paola with your presence - it will be you and her against the world!

Story
This is Kitsch - yes she's flashy - yes kittens like her are mass produced- but she is horrendously special- and yes she does know it in a real garish way just like her name :). Kitsch is everything you want in a kitty- some mystery - some flair- some attitude- and of course - some purr. As you can see she is very communicative with her eyes and loves to snuggle with her sister Little Miss Earl Gray. Kitsch is a champ at using her litter box- and right now is too small to hop up to high places - but please be patient with this baby and let her know where she is and isn't allowed in your home. Note; Kitsch has a skin condition in which it is difficult for her to stay fluffy. We are not certain if this is an allergy- attributed to genetics- or simply due to irritation. Kitsch does not have fleas but we are tweaking her diet to rule out allergies :). Please don't judge this awesome girlie by a few missing patches of hair :). She definitely won't judge you!
