After surviving a difficult life on the streets, where she was often bullied by other cats, Lucy has come to value safety, consistency, and human companionship above all else. Since moving indoors, Lucy has blossomed into an incredibly affectionate and grateful girl. She enjoys gentle attention, prefers quiet companionship, and often chooses to rest near her person, simply happy to be close. Lucy is calm, observant, and emotionally sensitive, and she thrives in environments that offer routine, predictability, and stability. Lucy would be happiest as the only cat in the home, or possibly with a very calm, non-assertive companion. High-energy or crowded multi-cat settings tend to overwhelm her, as competition causes stress rather than comfort. Lucy is spayed, healthy, and fully indoor. WINSOME AND RELAXED  DOB 3/14/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Cardi B, and my middle-school foster sister named me because I’m just as much an award-winner as the famous American rapper. As I heard my Foster Meowmy describe me, “Cardi B is soooo sweet and special.” I’m one beautiful, affectionate calico, if I do say so myself, who purrs constantly and loves to be held. I’m so easygoing and fearless that I climbed right into my foster sister’s lap the first time I met her. I’m young and frisky, so I love chasing the string wand toy around the room when someone wiggles it like a snake. A kind HOPE volunteer trapped me among a colony of community cats in a trailer park. After I was spayed and ear-tipped, this kind woman realized that I was too sweet and friendly to be released outside again. Maybe I was someone’s misplaced or abandoned pet, but I’ll never tell! Anyway, thank heavens my Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate and brought me to the safe haven of her home. When I came into my foster home, I immediately sniffed noses with the most unfriendly of their cats. Nobody hissed, and immediately everyone – both hooman and feline – fell in love with me as they joyfully breathed a sigh of relief! I was even fearlessly curious about the big dog, and since then we've begun to play together. Understandably my foster family has gotten very attached to me because “Basically, Cardi B’s the best.” Although I love it here in my foster home, I realize that I’ll get more attention if I bring my winsome personality and relaxed friendliness to a forever family who has fewer cats to rob me of the attention that I want and deserve. LOVES HUGS, KISSES, AND CHURUS  DOB 4/23/25        Hey there, everyone! I’m Callie, a sweet, friendly, and affectionate calico gal with a beautifully colorful fur coat that’s as soft as a bunny’s. I luxuriate when Foster Meowmy gives me hugs, kisses, as well as Churus squeezable treats. When I’m not soaking up her affection, I enjoy basking in a patch of sunshine on the windowsill while I nap or watch kitty TV by observing the wildlife outside. I’m a happy girl who amicably enjoys just about everything except car rides! I showed up in the neighborhood where Foster Meowmy traps, neuters, and releases unsocialized community cats. Only after I was spayed and had gotten my ear-tipped did Foster Meowmy realize that I was a sweet, friendly kitten who had probably been someone’s pet in my past. So instead of releasing me outside after I recovered from my surgery, Foster Meowmy decided to foster me until she could find me a loving forever home.
