Callie is a one year old Calico. We found Callie as a stray kitten, and she's been with us for just over a year. We have three children that she has done very well around. She likes to play with toys and enjoys going outside in short bursts (very short bursts, as the outside world is a noisy and scary place for her). Callie is a very timid cat that prefers to have her own space. She loves to be in the same room as us and will lay close to us to rest, but she does not enjoy being cuddled or held. We recently tried to introduce Callie to other pets, but she was extremely uncomfortable. She would thrive best in a home where she is the only pet. Callie is a fun loving cat that loves to jump, play, and watch the outdoors through the comfort of her favorite window.

I'm Athena, a sassy calico girl who acts and looks like a goddess. Found scrounging for food and abandoned in an apartment complex, I was rescued by a nice lady visiting a friend. I was eager for food and attention, and I'm now in search for my forever home! I am a bit slow to warm up at first, but once I do, I'm a total sweetheart. I like chin and neck rubs and will roll into head pets too. I can also be a bit spicy at times like a typical calico girl as I like to be in charge. But I will get along with other cats after proper introduction and time. Did someone say play?! Yes, I like to play too, climbing high on wall mounted shelves and up cat trees, leaping from place to place after string and wand toys. I can be a bit of a goofy gal and entertain from time to time. BEAUTIFUL SPLASHES OF COLOR  DOB 6/1/24 Hey there, everyone! I’m Palette, a sweet, friendly, calm, and gentle calico whose gorgeous patches of peach and black on white reminded Foster Meowmy of an artist’s palette. Although I don’t jump on her lap, I do seek out Foster Meowmy’s attention and luxuriate when she scratches my ears, chin, and cheeks or gently strokes my back. When I was about five or six months old, I started showing up as a stray at Meowmy’s house and was thrilled when she started feeding me. She greeted me with such kind words that I knew I could trust her. Eventually I became brave enough to claim the back patio as my refuge from the dogs and cars in the front yard. Whenever she came out back, I would come up to greet her and invite her to pet me. The inevitable happened, however, and when she realized that I was pregnant, she scooped me up and brought me inside to stop the cycle of more stray cats and kittens in her neighborhood. When I was about ten months old, I birthed my #artist-colony litter of five kittens in the safe haven of my foster home. I’ve been an exemplary teenage momma – attentive, protective, and easygoing. I’m still young myself, though, so I enjoy interactive playtime when Foster Meowmy waves the wand toy over my head or snakes it around the room for me to chase. I even display my soccer skills when I bat my stuffed toys around the room. Sometimes I join my kits in their playing and chasing. I’d say that I definitely deserve and cherish moments during the day when I can grab my quiet time away from my kittens. Now that I’ve permanently retired from motherhood, I’m ready to bring my friendly poise and cheerful calmness to my forever family. LOVES TO JUMP ON MEOWMY'S BACK TO SUPERVISE HER CHORES  DOB 3/29/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Bella, I’m a feisty, playful Tabico (tabby-calico with a few splashes of peach) gal who sometimes doesn’t know when to stop cavorting. I also love cuddling in Foster Meowmy’s lap because she showers me with hugs and kisses. My favorite trick is to hop on Foster Meowmy’s back when she’s bent over scooping the litterbox or picking up toys off the floor. There’s nothing like a bird’s-eye view when I need to supervise Meowmy’s chores! When we were about six weeks old and with no momma in sight, my sister Mia and I were found by a Good Samaritan, who brought us to HOPE. Boy howdy! We were relieved that we kissed the hardscrabble life goodbye and that Foster Meowmy agreed to take us in. We were much too small to be fending for ourselves. The cornea of my eye was injured when I first came into foster care, but it’s healed up nicely, and I’m doing just fine now. Mia and I fit in seamlessly with the rest of the foster kitties, including three who are about my age. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other as well as with toys, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
