Hi I am Ali! Senior citizen, professional critic, and part-time sweetheart! I’m not going to lie… I’m a little hard to love. I have standards. I have opinions. And I have absolutely no interest in pretending to like you before I’m ready. I’m slow to warm up and prefer to observe from a safe distance while I decide whether you’ve earned my trust. Meet Connor 🖤 Connor is proof that sometimes the sweetest relationships just take a little time. His foster mom has watched him make huge strides in just three weeks, going from a kitten who was too scared to be handled to one who absolutely melts into affection once he trusts you. Connor is a cat’s cat through and through. If another kitty is around, he will probably choose playing and hanging out with them before coming to you. But that’s not because he doesn’t like people. He’s still learning that humans can be pretty cool, too. 🐱 Connor is naturally shy and skittish, especially when people are standing over him. Give him some time, get down on his level, and once he’s comfortable, you’ll discover a completely different side of him. Pick him up, hold him close, and give him some chin scratches or pets behind his neck, and he’ll melt like butter in your hands. His purr is LOUD, and when he’s really enjoying himself, he even starts to drool. 😂 He may need a week or two to settle into a new home before you see much of him. You might initially know he’s there because his food disappears and his litter box gets used. But having another friendly cat in the home can make that transition much easier. Once Connor gets comfortable, he loves to play. Expect nighttime zoomies, hunting feet under the covers, chasing toys, and an ongoing obsession with the fact that apparently trash and random zip ties are better than actual cat toys. 😂 Connor may never be the cat who spends all day curled up in your lap, and that’s okay. He’s looking for someone who understands that affection can look different. Someone who will give him time to build trust, enjoy his playful personality, and appreciate the occasional cuddle session when he decides you’re worthy. And honestly, after seeing how far he’s come in just three weeks, we think there’s still so much more Connor to discover. 🖤 If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate little void who will keep you entertained and slowly work his way into your heart, Connor just might be your guy.
