New animals are posted daily, so please let us know if another furry friend peak your interest (there is no need to fill out a second application)! Every question must be answered, and it must be signed.-Applicants must be 21+ years old and live within a 50-mile radius of our shelter at 22415 Groesbeck Hwy, Warren 48089.-You must identify at least 1 dog/cat that you are interested in.-Attach a copy of proof of home ownership (i.e. tax bill, deed, or mortgage payment – you can black out the account #, etc.) or animal clause/agreement of your rental agreement. This must be in a .jpeg format. If you are unable to send in this format, please be prepared to provide this documentation in another way prior to adoption.Once your application is received, it will be assigned to one of our volunteer Adoption Counselors who will follow-up with the applicant who is the best fit within a few days, or to discuss other dogs/cats. It could take up to a couple of weeks for you to receive a final disposition on your application so there is no need to check on the status.-Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only, 30 minutes per appointment. The entire household, including current dogs, must be present for the appointment. (Note: Please do not bring your dogs if you are meeting cats!). You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.All our Cane lovers come check out adoptable Enzo!  He was found near 8 mile in Detroit while hanging around a job site.  He is an active boy who LOVES to play catch.  He is great at the fetching part, he returns about 75% of the time, but he’s working on it!  We are still learning his personality, but he seems to be a confident boy who knows what he wants.  This fits the breed description and as such will ideally go to a home with Cane or Mastiff experience.  He likes people but barks at new people who come around his space, again, standard for the breed.  He has got along well with a few chill female pups hes met and would probably be good with a relaxed female sister.  No cats for this boy and kids above the age of 13.  If you are looking for a beautiful Cane with a great life ahead of him please apply to meet Enzo today!  His approximate birth date is March 2021.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 26, 2023, 1:43 pm

She’s a such a pretty blue brindle, definitely on the underweight side but that’s easy to fix especially since she’s got a huge appetite Gia’s littermates had been going after her and as a result Gia had several bite wounds that had to be treated with antibiotics and shes healing fine. She’s shy but definitely enjoys everyone she’s met. She loved two dogs that she met during intake. She barked at her image in the mirror & the oven door, it was too funny.
