Story
Bindi is a very smart & funny cat. She is 3.5 years old. She does not like cat toys, and prefers her rainbow (foam) balls, a tunnel & boxes/bags to play with. If you throw her ball, she will often bring it back to you. She is very smart & needs to be around people & other animals, or she will be demanding your attention 100%. She should live somewhere that she can go outside & should have a yard, or she will get bored and cause trouble. She quickly learns which dogs are safe & is friendly with those she is used to. She plays a bit rough occasionally, but has been raised around my granddaughter who is now 6. I cannot stress this enough, she needs outside activity. She is limited to our 3rd floor deck and it is not enough. Bindi will mess with your houseplants. She is good at opening cabinets, drawers & bi-fold doors. She is housetrained. I would love to find the right home for her with a family who let her out during the day & in at night for love & snuggles.

Story
Fig is a really sweet boy who is pretty in tune emotionally and loves to cuddle. He does cute stuff like playing treat fetch (you just throw treats for him to go find. Then he eats them, he doesn't bring them back). He loves cat nip and silvervine. I got him and his sister when they were a few months old. He arrived with a little crook in his tail but was pretty sweet immediately. After about six months, he had an episode where he smelled another, unknown cat and got really scared (and consequently violent). I think he probably needs kitty Prozac or gabapentin for the rest of his life. Oddly, he seems interested in other animals but somehow the smells on me and his sister have triggered a very bad response. Somehow I do think he'd be ok in a place with a bunch of animals (maybe farm/ranch) but think it would take time for him to transition. He's a great mouser. I wouldn't recommend a house with kids, I'm not sure how he'd respond and would worry about him hurting them.

Story
Chai is an incredibly sweet and loving cat. He’s got a great mix of playful energy and calm cuddles, always ready to hang out and keep you company. He’s friendly with everyone and has a way of making you feel at ease with just a little purr or a nudge. It’s hard to let him go, but unfortunately, due to circumstances, I can’t keep him anymore. I know he’ll bring just as much joy to someone else’s home as he has to mine!

Story
Luna is a stunning gray and white long-haired lady, seven years young, with a soft, silky coat. Rescued from a dumpster at just five weeks old, she's spent her life surrounded by love and care -- and it shows. Healthy, happy, and deeply loyal, Luna is ready to bring her gentle presence to a new forever home. Her foster says "She has a quiet meow but a loud purr." Though shy at first, Luna is incredibly smart and affectionate once she feels safe. She knows her name, comes when called, and enjoys being close to her person -- whether it's sitting quietly on your desk while you work, curling up at the foot of your bed, or joining you in the garden for some peaceful outdoor time. She's not a lap kitty, but she is a heart kitty -- the kind that becomes your quiet, constant companion. Luna is very clean and tidy with her litter box and appreciates a calm, predictable environment. She's frightened of dogs and children, so a quiet, adult-only home would be ideal. Regular grooming helps keep her long coat comfortable -- she's not fond of having her belly brushed, but with gentle handling and patience, she does well. Sadly, Luna's beloved person can no longer care for her due to age and declining health. Now she's looking for someone with a tender heart who understands the value of a calm companion and is willing to give her the safe, loving home she deserves. Ideal Home: -Quiet household without children or dogs -Someone who enjoys the company of a calm, independent cat -Willing to provide occasional professional grooming if needed -Might be ok with a calm cat friend with proper and slow introduction If you're looking for a serene, loyal friend to share your days with, Luna might be the perfect match. Come meet this sweet girl -- she's ready to love and be loved.

Story
Hi, I'm Penny-a 9-year-and-4-month-old black-and-white domestic shorthair, and a very friendly one at that. I am bonded with my brother Garfield.I may have a calm, mature vibe, but don't let that fool you-I genuinely enjoy people. I'm the kind of cat who will come say hello, happily accept pets, and keep you company just because I like being around you. I don't need much convincing to make a new friend.I love a cozy spot as much as the next cat, but I'm just as happy sitting near you, following you from room to room, or curling up beside you for some quiet time. I've outgrown my wild kitten days, so I bring a steady, easygoing energy into the home-no drama, just companionship.Being spayed and well into adulthood, I've got life figured out: be kind, stay comfy, and enjoy the company of good humans. If you're looking for a sweet, approachable cat who will greet you like an old friend, I think we'll get along just fine.We are eligible for Foster to Adopt! Please speak to a SPCA staff member for more information. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 15 Age: 9yrs 4mths 3wks
